Really p's me off over on reddit a lot of "Russ lost" "Ty Lue is a bad coach" "Clippers collapsed"

No. The Kings won this game. They won it. They overcame questionable officiating, their other all star being removed from the game in the span of 30 seconds by horrifically non-existent calls, and a few calls that deliberately tried to swing the game. Also the non-kick kick ball is what swung the game one last time until we recovered.

But WE RECOVERED. WE WON. Nobody choked. WE just WON.
Similar to how we look back on the Vlade tip out to Horry as the beginning of the descent, if THIS game isn't one we look back on in 10 years as the turning point for the Kings to be great again... nothing will.

Franchise changing sort of game. Just might start getting everyone to believe we're more than playoff fodder in the first round.

Honestly we win in 2003 and maybe several times after if only...

Everybody showing up to dunk on Kawhi after this! He was unreal in this game as a shot maker, but I don't recall even noticing him on defense tonight which has got to be a first for him. Is his trademark defense slipping now that he's got to shoulder more of the offensive load or is it just that the Kings move the ball so much that there's no one for him to defend one-on-one?

Kawhi had a few amazing defensive plays, especially in the OT's, but yeah. I think his trademark defense has certainly been taken down a few pegs over the years and injuries. He's still one of the best players in the league on offense though, as he damn well showed tonight.

A will to win. A will to prove. Unwavering poise.
Refs bleep Kings? Kings smile :)
Clippers build to contend? Kings build to beat Clippers. With Tony Brothers, that girl and all the rest.
Poor Mike Brown. He lived in different NBA. LBJ and Cavs, Dubs. Now, never-ending acid enema from the refs. Guess what? Kings don't give a bleep. Veni vidi vici.
Since first game for Gonzaga, every team Domas showed up got "unexpectedly" better.
Fox? Since MJ times I haven't seen anything as this (to close the games).
Last year, first game after the trade, Kings had smiles on their faces. This year, Kings fans have smile on their faces.
Is this story over? Nope. One of the best quotes in NBA, that didn't get fined, was Monk's. "They always disrespect us, so I wanted to show them".
A will to prove is contagious. On any court, against any team, as Kings have one of Domas or Fox, Kings will play to win. Even if both Domas and Fox will not dress up, other guys will play to win for them, for themselves, coaches, fans.
A win like this, against Clippers, rested, healthy and ready. On the road, with Tony brothers and his whistle up his arse - can you imagine how much confidence and satisfaction it infuses?
Light beat the double team of evil and darkness (of one of the best quality).

Beam is lit, and better everybody watch it. Cause it goes sky high :)

Wow, that is completely random. Former king Jack Cooley? Ranadive needs to invite him court side

ehh, let em sulk.

Just rewatched from the 4th quarter on. We really had no business going into overtime let alone winning in double OT. That speaks volumes. I hope coach is hyping the **** out of the team in the locker room. It’s a win like any other win, but you can’t tell me this one didn’t have more meaning. The Kings wanted to see where they stood with a great team. And we went blow for blow. Both teams setting records left and right. And we won in absolutely epic fashion. Love it

The Clippers shot 60% from the field, 58% from 3, and 86% from FT and lost. That’s incredible.
Got every call and still lost

Yeah Kings seriously deserved that win. Refs going against them and being down many points several times, and still never gave up.

I hate the Kings with a passion, but I love the heart on their squad. They play every game like their lives depended on it

It's not clips peeps I don't think. The NBA reddit. We're third in the West, have been for two months, we're closer to the 2 seed. We're a good team that still gets no respect because we are kept off tv.

Fox goes to the all star game and doesn't even receive the inbounds passes as a PG.

People are going to be in for an awakening in May and June.

he was the one who had the crunch time blocks and steals on Fox, but I don't blame you for not noticing. there wasn't much defense played by either team tonight

Fox has given Kawhi fits even before the knee injuries. Malik also being among the quickest guards in the league only makes things harder for him.

It’s hard to know how to react or what to say after that.

Except that I’m worn out and didn’t play a single second of basketball.

And I thought the last Dallas game was stressful. Sheesh. It had nothing on this one.

I’m just so freaking happy our team finally won a classic and historic game.

Think about this. Every team plays 82 games each season. And has played 82 for many decades. And the NBA has been a thing for 76 years now.

And we just saw the SECOND highest scoring game in history. Only 1 out of however many gajillions of games saw a higher score. Unreal.

And our team WON it.

Light that effing beam!

I agree with you. I thought Fox got completely disrespected and disregarded in the All-Star game. His teammates who had the ball treated him like a random player who was there in place of an injured roster spot. He's making sure his peers know that he's at the same level as them.

Fox completely turned it around after his mini-slump this season. he's a franchise player. we need more games on national TV

It had more meaning. It gave them a good chance at a tiebreaker with Clippers; it added a full game up going forward. The Kings are gonna have quite a few more of these types of games too in this last quarter or so of the season.
