Well, it would have been nice to pick up Hartenstein or Plumlee or even Bamba, but I'm guessing Monte McNair just didn't like the price he'd have to pay to join in on silly season. Hopefully he can grab a bargain big on the buyout market, which is sure to get flooded with the kind of bench talent that was literally just going for multiple second-rounders. Regardless, McNair didn't do anything stupid, and considering the amount of lols and wuts in this thread over the price that eighth, ninth, and tenth guys were drawing, I'd say I'm ultimately happy that our GM kept his powder dry, disappointing though it is that the Kings weren't able to bolster their depth.
