Yeah it was a bad call just like the PI call, and that 2nd chance f%$k up do-over by the incompetent so-called pro refs
It was 100% a correct call clear as day and Mahomes has gotten ones that weren't even that close his entire career. It's a problem because QBs can run out of bounds like that and then not go out of bounds last second when players back off (something Mahomes has also done), but it's the rule.

He went out to touch him but lost his balance and leaned into him when falling.....obvious. It wasn't a "hit".

I'll come around and cheer the Eagles.......but I dont think they win.......same problem as the 49ers, will not generate the offense needed to win. Bengals and Bills were the 2 teams available with a good chance and had to play each other early. NFC teams nope.

The grounding call on Burrow was also a bad call imo

Burrow got hit as he threw the ball and there was still a RB in the vicinity of the ball
I did think that one was cheap. I think they should just do away with grounding since you are allowed to ground it very intentionally as long as you meet a bunch of random criteria but are still very much left with zero out. Or they should call anything not catchable a grounding.

I think it likely comes down to turnovers and whether or not the Chiefs jump out to a couple touchdown lead. Kansas City won’t be able to stop the Eagles run game but if Mahomes gets a sizable lead it will be tough. They will probably double Hassan and rely on Pats little scrambles

It's offense against the Chiefs - can the opposing (in this case Eagles) offense generate the needed points. What you mention was the same thing 49er fans said 3 years ago, and it didn't matter a lick with the run game - and that 49ers run game was just as good then. Mahomeless won today with gimpy leg;, he will have 12-13 days rest and his injury will likely be closer to healed by the time they play. Unless the Eagles knock him out of the game too, the Chiefs will win by 7-10 pts - I would've said similar for the 49ers had they won today. You need explosive pass plays against the Chiefs to match their own. Unfortunately for the Eagles, the Bengals couldn't pull it out and blew it.

the Eagles can throw too. AJ brown, Dallas and Smith are a pretty fantastic skill position group. If Hurts gets back to pre injury accuracy I expect some big pass gains. The thing about the NFL is that single elimination allows for about anything to happen. I won’t be surprised by a multitude of outcomes

I’ve been an Eagles fan since the Cunningham days and there were a ton of crappy years before Big Red got there. After they won it all in 2017 I rested easy with them and anything that happened since has just been a cherry on top. Sure I want them to win, but I’m not desperate for a victory like before that year.

Chiefs over The She-gles (A Cowboys fan can NEVER cheer for the She-gles...).

Apologies, @iowamcnabb...

Niners fans, that was rough. My biggest question for you heading into the offseason and, eventually, next season, is how will your defense fare without Ryans (if, according to the rumors, he ends up heading to Houston, or any other team for that matter).
