If the Rockets somehow get Wembanyama and then resign James Harden... Sheesh that'd be a heck of a 1 year turnaround..

I think thats why they've hung onto Eric Gordon, they'd still have him to come off the bench for next season.

Not impressive first half.
Kings had 10 turnovers, when Rockets 5. Kings won boards by a margin (31-18) and this kept them afloat.
Defence needs to be better, more cuts and we should win. 542.PNG

Jalen probably not going to go 83% from three all night
I wonder what Coach Brown is going to try to slow him down.

Seems like holding him under 40 is going to be quite the task... As much as we have guys like Davion and TD who are really tough and stout defensively, Green is just so damn explosive he might be the rare matchup that stays out of reach, n the issue is once he breaks containment he just does whatever he pleases

Thats part of the reason why these games arent the worst to be getting Huerter some rest, he isnt built to deal with Green either, not many are.

Rockets decided to finally play though Sengun over the last couple of games and it's helping them a lot. Also KPJ being out in this game probably has made them a better team than they would be were he in. Clearer hierarchy on offense, less dumb ****ups on defense.

Defense has actually been adequate, when they don't give up transition baskets; reducing the turnovers should mitigate that a lot.

Yep Both of those things are heavy contributors to the Rockets only having 5 turnovers. Hopefully we can disrupt them a bit more in this 3rd q

If he beats us with threes over defender's outstretched arms so be it.But he had a bunch of wide open ones when guys went to help on D.Need to be smarter then that. Why help defending Tate(not a good offensive player) and leave smoking hot Green wide open on top of the key(Keegan did that).

He may not look like a great player right now, but I feel like there’s a really good player in Jabari. Would love him on our team.
He’ll be very good when put in the right role. I don’t see a star player but obviously the finished product could be very valuable starter on a great team if he doesn’t spend his whole career on aimless teams.

He would’ve fit in very well on the Kings and I think we would all be excited about him. I see where he can be disappointing for a Rockets team though that don’t want to see somebody who could be an especially versatile 3 and D role player in the event that they become a decent team with a clear identity in the next 5 years.

Hard to get excited for that when you’re bottom of the league. That’s why over the last 16 years whenever somebody projected a Kings draft pick as a solid “rotation player” it would feel like such a letdown. We want star potential only. “Role players” can go play a role somewhere else. it only takes a first half like the Kings have had to remind you that “rotation players” annd “role players” are extremely valuable.

Trey Lyles just executed one of the best box outs I've seen in a while. He totally turned his back to the shot at the rim, to make sure he located his man in the corner and got a body on him. Great to see
