Defense has taken several steps back lately. Feels like we resorted to usual Kings fashion and completely focus on offense. Wonder what’s up with that? Where’s the defense from earlier in the season?
The optimist in me says you've got a tired Laker team on the second night of a back-to-back and then energized Kings have shown the ability to turn up the intensity in the fourth.
On the next pick and roll the Lakers run I'd like to see Sabonis come up, not lead Bron to the rim. If he gets passed Domas, Keegan should be there. He read that last play on the charge really well.
This is the scenario we've been seeing. Fox dominating, then all of a sudden the offense goes to Barnes/Huerter or the role guys in a creation setting and it shows you the lack of that other iso option. Barnes is back to his Dubs form and kind of seems to have lost that iso edge.
