Sounds like Monte did the 49 trade to actually get Sasha and not just get money.
I've read good things about him but also that he had a bit of a disappointing final 4 in the Euros. But an outstanding regular season. So ok.

Will he be available this year because I also saw something that said his contract ran until next year?

Kyrie to the Knicks would be the biggest fanbase troll of all! I give him 3 weeks before spraining an ankle and teasing fans with "is he healthy or not?" rumors for the rest of the season or just straight up deciding to move to India and study transcendental meditation. Maybe both?
when an individual walks around with one of these, you know he is seeking a higher calling, it's simply a question of how soon will he achieve this feat.

Monte is really going to bat for Keegan. This is legitimately the most wound up I've ever seen him.
This was so obviously a Monte and Brown guy like yeah if there was a 4 -> 5 deal to be had and still get him he'd have done it but there was no good trade down here. If you don't like Monte that's fine but this is totally his team I think we can cool it with all the weird conspiracy stuff, he's even signing undrafted guys, maybe he actually knows what he's doing?

Jill seemed really irritated 30 mins ago she is ok now?
She, like most of us were ready to jump off a cliff before the UDFA guys and a good report on Sasha came out.

It's still dumb to pass on the talent that was sitting there at 37, but it's more understandable if Keon Ellis and they're confident they can get Sasha over this season.

Herb Jones followed up by Liddell. Pelicans doing it two years in a row. Mike Brown could have done some nice things with him.
Yep and even if he never developed, at least you could say that the Kings took the guy that most thought was BPA at the time.

Now they'll just wind up with the 49th and 54th pick a few years down the line that'll just be thrown in randomly with a low level trade.
