They understand that the same plan has been unsuccesfull for 15 years in a row. Give them a plan that focuses on few years ahead and make moves that support that plan. Or we can continue as usual, change nothing and keep being the absolute worst franchise in the future too. Dropping 7th pre lottery is a great example on incompetency when it was clear for a long time that we arent a competitive team yet. If it happened by playing Queta and gleaguers then so be it. In this case it happened by for some mysterious reason playing Barnes for 38mins

Lakers: Denver, Pheonix, @Denver all losses. which puts them at 49. Losses to Golden State and OKC puts them at 51 losses.

so while 7th seems likely pre-lottery is still possible.

I like Dave a lot better than many people who tweet about the Kings in the Sac media but he's still human and mostly in business for himself.

Dave: Petrie didnt tell PDA to draft Giannis
Sean Cunningham: Actually, Pete told me in person that Petrie recommended that he draft Giannis
Dave: Well, um, I know what Pete said but i heard Petrie wasnt clear. (how much more clear can you get than it coming straight from the source? Maybe he has a different definition of recommendation and it's different than when someone tell someone to do something)
Dave: (follows that up with) Again i know what Pete said, i just heard different from others involved.

His main statement was Geoff Petrie didnt tell Pete D to draft Giannis. I would consider PDA as 1 of the 2 people that would be able to confirm this statement to be true or false, the other is Geoff and there is no reason why he wouldnt confirm Pete stating that Geoff told him to draft Giannis.

These hindsight exercises are just futile. Doesn’t change 16 yrs of sucking. The only thing that matters right now is who’s operating in that role. Middle manager Monte has a half a season to sink or swim.

I'm just trying to understand the logistics. I keep hearing about how baseball and soccer kids can't play on travel/academy teams and their high school teams based in the same city so wondering how the kid plays high school ball in Carmichael and apparently on a team based in Los Angeles at the same time or if I'm just completely missing something. Sorry to be obtuse, it's just fascinating to me as I try to wrap my head around.
