I know not everyone is a fan of Bill Simmons, but there was a short discussion of fox and his recent play in his podcast from Thursday. Something along the lines of... "I still wouldn't have done the trade, BUT.... the Fox/Sabonis pairing does make a lot of sense, and I'll at least give the Kings credit for not giving up on Fox." (not a direct quote). It's always interesting to see the reactionary hot takes in the heat of the moment from the national media (the sky is falling; fox is terrible, overpaid and should be dumped; how could you trade Haliburton???) and then the slow drip of walk-backs over the next few months. Loudly proclaiming another idiotic KANGZ move apparently gets more clicks than later providing a more level-headed assessment of how things are turning out.
