[KINGS] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (Redux)

i mentioned this before but I think Doug’s coaching has been impactful with Marvin and what I was hoping I would see when he came to the NBA and got some real coaching other than his dad.

really given what we have seen in defensive improvement from Bagley I would not trade him away and I would match any contract that is not over the top.
I'm still not seeing it at this point. I think he can potentially end up being a "valuable" piece of a rotation at some point in his career, but even with improved play and BBIQ this year, I just don't ever see him being a difference maker that will make me worry if/when we let him walk.

Nevermind the dude only seems good for like 60% of the games in any given season

Zach Lowes comments on the Kings ….z

At their worst, they are dispirited -- borderline unwatchable unless Tyrese Haliburton is flitting around doing Tyrese Haliburton things. They are three games out of a play-in tournament that might as well be named for them, given Sacramento's desperation to earn a brown participation ribbon. They are in danger of falling below the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets, who would not welcome the lottery competition.

Too funny. Brown participation ribbon. We should all go to the game with Ribbons.

Yup. Really no need to pine over lottery odds when we’re going to be moving this unprotected pick for Jerami Grant anyways.
I saw some deal that had the pick at top 4 protection. TBH, considering it is shaping up to be a 4 player draft, that wouldn't be the worst thing.

Y’all know we’re going on a late season 6 game winning streak when other teams are resting or ultra/tanking. We’ll still miss the playoffs, but draft at 10!
all things considered though, players 6-12 or so are all of a similar level of prospect in this class so it’s be a minor victory lol

we’re totally gonna wear these as a throwback either this year or next, aren’t we?

although, honestly, these mock up versions look much better than the actual ones they wore lol
Swap the team name and number for the love of god.

Maybe go ahead and make all the purples match this time.

New number font, larger on the back.

Fix accents. Just basic side stripes instead of the weird different things on each arm hole. Maybe a checkered pattern down a side like my favorite throwback we’ve worn.

If you insist on keeping the weird arm hole accent design, drop the name under the (larger new font) number so it’s not jammed into that smaller space.

They just aren't the same without the trash bag sheen.
I loved the shiny jerseys of their day. The black Heat and Sixers jerseys were fire. I actually bought a legit black Heat shiny jersey because I like them so much. The whole Sixers lineup was nice (Black, white, blue)

Shiny Baby blue Nuggets wasn’t the best.

And I may have been the only person on the planet that unironically liked the silver Mavs one they wore one time.

The jerseys all around back in the day were so much better. I prefer the matte finish but compared to the simple crap they have now it was all better.

I honestly cant remember if I had the gold jersey at one time. I feel like there is a 20% chance in had it, just shows how much time has actually passed since those golden years.
