I don't know, man. The Kings would greatly benefit from a dude who has taken his team through a bunch of iterations and is still thriving. Name another current GM with a record as long and as consistent as his.
I like Presti and he has found creative ways to keep a small market team relevant. Time will tell if his methods result in a chip

The Athletic article today says Beal may be more open to a trade than he has been in the past. Philly says Beal is one of their preferred players. Does that trade go down?

We have 4 seconds from the last 2 years many of us "like" who can barely get time and only because of COVID, injury, or the guys in front of them giving up. I'm not sure why people keep harping on buying/selling more second round picks. Vivek wants a competitive team so building a JV tank squad just isn't going to happen under any GM. Monte, Presti, or Hinkie.

Anyhow Barnes for a first sounds good. I'd like to know how desperate Utah has become and if they'd give up two. Ingles, another player on a short deal we promptly waive (Gay?), picks. Butler if they throw him in so we have a "now" talent although not sure how he fits in with our guard rotation being on the small side so I would rather have a second pick.

I thought Utah would be a good landing spot for Barnes too but it looks like Utah doesn’t own their pick this year so we would be looking at a future pick(s)

Maybe Hotlanta for that Reddish pick?

how about

kings trade Barnes ‘22 first
Hawks trade Collins ‘22 New York pick

kings trade ‘22 NY pick, Mitchell + filler
Pacers trade Turner

kings trade Holmes
Warriors trade Moody + filler

Fox
Haliburton
Moody
Collins
Turner

defense at arguably the two most important positions, 4 shooters, 5 players with growth potential and all our our picks after 22.

man, we’re going to be so disappointed when the only change is we have Kent Bazemore manning the backup 3/4.

They have a problem with Zion and probably don't have the leisure of taking their time of building around their number one that most teams would. I'd definitely make deals with NO.
where does Barnes fit on the roster? They have Herb Jones locked in at the 3 and BI at the 4. Seems like an odd fit

Bleh. I like Josh Hart, but this would be the definition of rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic. Maybe if a FRP comes along with him?
What in the world does he mean by "Josh Hart sign and trade"? Josh Hart has one guaranteed year (and one player option) remaining on his deal. Harrison Barnes has one year remaining on his deal. Neither player is eligible for a sign-and-ANYTHING this summer.

I think it's just bad phrasing. That we talked about a S&T this summer and we're still interested in Hart

I'm guessing that there was a S&T deal on the table last summer and now they are just talking about making a deal based on whatever didn't come of that. Twitter isn't the best format for properly conveying your thoughts within character limits.

OK, but I gotta admit, that if you say "Pels would be interested in a Josh Hart sign and trade that was also discussed this summer" when you mean "Kings might be interested in Josh Hart, discussed a sign and trade last summer", then you've used more characters to be way more inaccurate and confusing than you could have been with fewer.

How about:
Kings get Sabonis, Send Jazz Barnes, Sends Pacers 2022 1st (top 6 protected), 2027 1st -Unprot
Jazz gets Barnes, Torrey Craig, Sends Pacers Royce O'Neale, Joe Ingles 2023 1st
Pacers get Royce O'Neale, Ingles Ender, 3 1st rd picks

Why for Kings: we get Sabonis , only have to send 1 Protect pick. 1 future pick and Barnes
Why for Jazz: They get two wings for their win-now, Ingles no help this yesr
Why for Pacers: They get 3 1st rd picks for their rebuild, saves cap space - Ingles is an ender

We tank and get 2022 pick anyways, trade Buddy and Marvin for defensive wings

Jazz FRPs are currently encumbered through 2025, can't send one until 2026. I'm not sure the Pacers want to dump Sabonis for just picks, but if they were willing to do that, I'm not sure 2026 moves the needle for their rebuild.

I dunno but apparently Twitter etiquette demands that you tweet them with ad hominems if you can't decipher a tweet.

My Bad Capt. - but Both fanspo trade machine and Pro sports transactions show Jazz 2023 1st rd pick is available
I also added Kings 2027 1st so Pacers get 3 1sts
