Look at Willie close out and trap Gary Trent in the corner then recover to the paint...!!!!! WE can't find anyone in free agency who can do THAT, not even close tbh, other than Kevin Durant...
Blazers have 7'1 Meyers leonard 6'11 skal and 6'10 Layman on the floor and Willie just grabbed the board (when he was out of position) in the middle of all 3..
Na. On that note, even with him having no path to minutes on this team, I’m still disappointed we traded him. Especially for a man who grew his own orbit after arriving.
Still believe he has a chance to break out into a legit player down the line.
Lmao I remember the reaction to that trade was to pretend that Swanigan is a better fit or is somehow more talented (he isn't), or more importantly that Swanigan didn't suck (he does).
With Charlotte and Miami both losing tonight, if we can win we will hold the 14th spot in the lottery all to ourselves. We really need every last chance to not get lotto combos. This is my final goal for the season. Give Boston the #14 pick.
It's a battle of two incredibly frustrating big men who followed in the tradition of fellow frustrating Kings bigmen Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, Chuck Hayes, Samuel Dalembert, Spencer HaHaHawes, Mikki Moore, Kenny Thomas's contract, Brian Skinner, late-tenure Brad Miller, Joe Klien

Not exacly true. I don't know about everyone else, but I was just honestly glad to see Skal traded. I didn't really care what we got - I just didn't see a future between Skal and the Kings.
Nice that Buddy locked down the record early. Of course, at the rate that 3's are increasing, somebody will probably break 600 in their rookie year eventually.
BTW this game vs Portland is what really broke Yogi into the league and got him off 10-day contracts... interested to see if he still likes playing vs them..
