[Game] Kings v. Pelicans - Sunday, Dec. 23 - 3PT/6ET

We just take this layup line for granted, but, WCS/Beli isn’t a long term solution. I’ve given up on WCS being servicable in the paint but I guess he will be given the year

This perimeter defense is a joke. Wasted a good offensive quarter because any can on their team has no problem walking to the hoop

Kings made up no ground in a 33 point quarter

It could be far far far worse.
I think some people forget how far they've already come. They aren't going to win every game, they aren't going to look like a polished NBA team with lots of experience together every game. They're gonna make mistakes, they're going to have stretches when nothing goes right.

We are still very much better than virtually anyone thought we would be right now. It's nice to have great expectations but it's also nice to recognize they are still a work in progress.

never said this before but it's pretty clear.. If we could just hold the Pels to 120points or 30per quarter, instead of 140 and 35 per quarter, we can win this game.. .

In the 6 quarters so far vs the pels they've scored - 40, 32, 38, 39, 36 and 33

It's a paint fest for the Pels. They'll keep on driving in the paint as long as they don't have resistance.

I actually think Giles played pretty good D when he was in there. There are some little flashes that I see that still makes me hopeful.
How could you be anything but hopeful? He's a rookie who has only played in a handful of games thus far. Some people have put the cart so far in front of the horse neither is visible to the other. ;)

Holiday doesn’t suck. Tough matchup for anyone. We have had Fox, Hield and Shump on him at different times and it doesn’t matter. Some adjustments on the PnR in second half is needed but then there is AD

I'm looking for some defense DNA like we've seen with Bagley. Bagley is a rookie, and not a red shirted rookie, but it's obvious he's got some defensive talent. Giles isn't as obvious so far.
