You're missing a lot.
He's one of the best defenders in the NBA. Advanced stats absolutely love him and he makes an tremendous impact on the game, despite not scoring the ball. He's an extremely talented playmaker and ball-handler for a wing. He's a 3/4 flex wing which are so valuable in today's game.
ESP47 and I had a conversation about it in the Elf Payton thread, with regards to the scoring, but I think he may have the case of just being held back in Pop's offense. There's nothing in his stat profile that suggests he can't handle a much larger workload on offense. His 13% USG is just so weird for a guy who's a good playmaker for his position.and is efficient in scoring. That's honestly the only real question I have with him; what is the reasoning behind the weird 13% USG rate?
