The deals made so far don’t make the environment feel like the Buyers market I thought it was

The FA center market is without competition now if we went that route (with the Mavs out)

Kings tax, and California state tax. They need to remedy that yesterday

Spurs might be looking to retain him though, and they have the room
They way I see it, I'm not so sure they will really want to spend another $10+ mil on a role guy regardless of the Kawhi situation pans out. If Kawhi stays, dude is going to get a massive pay raise and they'll already have an insane budget to pay for Mills/Green/LMA/Pau/Kawhi. And if they deal Kawhi, why commit long-term money to a role guy in a rebuild?

Just think there's an opportunity there, hope we make a bid.

is cp3 deal good? he will be 37 when he is getting paid 40 mil. people these days complain about 25 year olds...

It's going to be horrendous but he seems like the type whose game doesn't fall off too much. Like Stockton.

Right now it's a little disappointing because some of the probable only real competition for the Warriors hasn't gotten better yet, they've gotten worse.

I hope Boston sends San Antonio one of Brown or Tatum and the Kings pick for Leonard because that might put them up into the position to challenge for a ring next year.

The Timberwolves began free agency by informing star guard Jimmy Butler that they intend to offer him a maximum contract extension valued in the four-year, $110 million range as soon as he's eligible to sign the deal on July 9, league sources say

Doing a bit of eyeball math from Keith Smith projected cap space sheet:

Mavs-Broke
PHX- Broke
Indy- $10 mil left
ATL- $23.4 mil left
Chicago- $22 mil left
Philly- $24 mil left
Kings- $18.7 mil left
Lakers- $46.7 mil left

seriously... damn son. This market is bare as all hell.

Leaving Atlanta as the only competitor to get at Capela/Nurkic that is like. I’d like Noel cheap if not that
