All things considered, the last thing the Kings need to worry about is fixing their frontcourt. Boogie/WCS/Kosta/Acy is already among the better big men squads in the league (to be fair, any rotation featuring Boogie would be).

Some people on this forum have been suggesting, all season, that Willie has a nice shooting touch and could develop into a pretty good shooter. . But some didn't believe it (not referring to you).

The only team I could see taking Hield is NO.

Even with them, I could see them going Murray instead since he's younger.

Yeah, I agree. The Celtics already have too many guards trying to get minutes. Avery Bradley, I Thomas, R.J. Hunter, Marcus Smart, James Young, Evan Turner, and Terry Rozier. Although New Orleans could use a top SG, their not desperate at that position, and if they think they're going to lose Anderson, (hopefully to us) they're going to need a PF more than they need a guard. So if we stay at seven, or better yet move down to six, our chances are good.

Looking at the schedules of some of the teams, New Orleans has an easier schedule than we do, so it's possible they'll pick after us. Wouldn't bet on it though.

I just see no way how Hield lasts past the top three. Some team will draft him early, he will not slip past 5 or 6 IMO so the Kings chances of landing him are slim.

Not to derail this thread but how could this team be this bad with WCS and Boogie in the frontcourt? sheesh!

Anyhow, most wise teams will take the BPA and not worry about fit, therefore, Buddy will be gone by the time the Kings get a chance. However, we have to stop sleeping on Jamal Murray. The guy can flat score. He had a poor NCAA tournament but look at the body of work. The guy will be good. Very good. Really, the only thing holding him back from being a superstar is athleticism. To me, athleticism is the absolute easiest skill to obtain in the NBA.

Athleticism isn't all its meant out to be. The league has plenty of athletes that are just role players or scrubs to boot. I'm looking at whether he knows how to play the game the right way. His instincts are spot on, IQ of the game. Professional and level headed through out the game. Exactly! Plus there is more than a 3 year age difference in the two.

I like Cousins point made several times in a recent interview that "Willie makes his own offense." It is clear that Karl has given him limited minutes and has run zero plays for him. Malone might have been the right sort of coach for him. The future looks bright, because Willie has played well in spite of his ineffective coach and bad management.
