[Game] Kings @ Celtics - 2/7/16 - 10 PT, 1 ET

I've been blaming Karl, but poopoo. This team has way more problems than coaching.

Some players don't even seem interested in the game tonight. This is really embarrasing.

I don't care if you don't want Karl as your coach anymore...have at least an ounce of respect for him. It's clear that a few guys aren't even trying today.
or respect for themselves. that would be nice

screw Karl

If Grant would point out that Boogie is getting fouled in the lane on every shot and with as much passion as when he belittles him, then I would respect Grant....but he doesn't.
You know what, I don't give a damm about what Grant is saying. He's not on the floor playing. So if Cuz is being fouled and not getting the calls, then it's alright to not play defense? BS!

I had to refresh my screen checking the score (just got back to watch the game) and I still don't believe they have 46 points at the end of the first. Wow

That first quarter is a microcosm of everything wrong with the Kings this season. Playing at too fast a pace with a team not built for it, not guarding the three and most importantly giving up huge 1st quarters to their opponent.

For anyone who didn't catch it, the Celtics tied the Warriors for most points in the first quarter at 46.

46 points.

It'll be funny if Karl plans to bench Cousins for the rest of the game.
If by "funny" you mean booking his own flight home, you are dead right. :)

Not that DeMarcus is playing well, he's not. But getting the most out of your star player is surely part of the job description and George Karl knew Cousins was part of the package deal when he took the job. He couldn't have done a worse job building that relationship.

He traded Iverson and Carmelo. He thinks he is above the players.

I don't care. Have some pride playing for yourself, your teammates and your fans. This has just been pathetic.
One bright note: At least they're stinking it up in Boston and we aren't stuck in Sleep Train wondering why we paid for tickets.

The really frustrating thing is thing is that firing Karl may well be deserved but it won't fix anything.

This team flat out doesn't give enough effort to win consistently, lacks consistent outside shooting and other than WCS, Casspi and Acy they don't play with energy and hustle.

I'd be shocked to see an interim coach make enough positive change for them to make up 5.5 games (if they lose today) and catch the Jazz.

And equally sad is that they can't even tank due to the Philly pick swaps and the pick they owe them outright.

They're probably all just thinking about their Super Bowl party later, and who is bringing what

He didn't want to build the relationship.
