Guys, I'm not so sure about this picture. Let's not look for things that we want to see.
It seems to be some kind of ploy for the media.
Let's examine this picture.

As you can see, Cuz's hand is not grasping Coach Karl's shoulder, but letting it hang loosely over it.
?????
This is a BIG RED FLAG. Don't look too deeply into the picture guys.

Cousins' shirt has an emblem of Jerry West on it, clearly indicating that he wants to be the PG next year. Why isn't Rondo in the picture? Hmm?

I think the answer is pretty obvious- this is not Cousins...

In this picture they used a custome made puppet of Cousins -that expalins why is hand just hang loosely over Karl's shoulder, and the reason Vlade's hand isn't in the picture is because he is puppeteering the Cousins puppet.

I think this also explain why Cousins looks so small compared to Vlade- the puppet shrinked in the washing machine... this is deception of the highest order!

I'm just wondering why there was no media release on the surgical removal of DMC's right arm. It is nowhere to be seen in the photo. I'm dropping my expectations this year by 20% for every limb DMC is missing at the start of the season. As long as he still has his head it's worth the other 20%. ;)

Vivek could have gotten away with it, but his type of criminal masterminds love to leave a clue out there... it's just part of their narcissistic personality.

Oh it hasn't been totally ignored.

In fact its been amusing how transparent this whole thing has become. There were stories from CBS, Fox, etc., and you can just hear some fo these writers hedging their bets, preparing the groundwork for their "well Sacramento was doing terrible then Cousins put his arm aroudn Karl and it changed the whole dynamic" stories if we accidentally start to win:

With the exception of Sheridan none of them has had the balls to actually come out and say we might be GOOD, but with Vlade's work and the pushback you are definitely seeing some of the more self aware media blatantly preparing the groundwork so they can quickly hop on our bandwagon if it should happen and claim "first!" even if they weren't.

A lot of people have said it doesn't matter if Cousins and Karl get along, that they just need to do their jobs and win games. But that's not what the Sacramento Kings are about- we're a family. Once, this attitude made us one of the best sports teams in the world. So, this picture does mean a lot to me and I'm really glad that Cuz has this attitude when it comes to his team.:)

good to see boogie and karl putting in the work to start repairing whatever damage has been done to their relationship, which never really got off the ground in the first place. who knows if the good vibes between them will last, but the best chance for a successful season begins and ends with these two getting on the same page early and often.

Karl has three seasons to win a title before he hangs it up. It is all out, win now, make or break time, and all of our decisions reflect that. We are actually trying to win the title next year. Aim ****ing high Kingsfans.

But sure, we'll become a consistent winner by January.

When Divac was asked what is missing and if there is going to be any additional signings, he mentioned something in the line that he would still like to have stretch 4, but that he consulted with Karl and Karl is happy with the current roster.
Karl did not said anything directly in that interview, sorry for not being clear with my interview teaser :)
Divac is also hoping that Moreland will be available to be brought back, and the only reason he was released was August 1st deadline.
He also said that he left one space open on purpose to add player if needed down the road.

There is nothing wrong with aiming high but at the same time you don't want to be a homer and let that cloud your judgment. Let's face it, the Kings ceiling IMO is a 7 or 8 seed UNTIL proven otherwise.

Nothing wrong with letting yourself be a 'homer' right now, or allowing yourself to feel hope and excitement. You can temper your feelings if you like, but I don't think you can dictate how high others want to feel. The one thing I learned from our brief taste of the having some glory years is grab them while they are there, savor the moments that present themselves. Right now, things are looking up, so enjoy that feeling before someone trips over their suitcase and breaks a thumb or something. That's my motto=)
