Not a good place to showcase what WCS can bring.

Methinks he'll look way better playing with real players, not a bunch of goofballs looking to make a roster.

Well, we might not be winning the summer league championship this year, but stat-wise and in the one highlight online WCS looked decent and he had two blocks

Sim must have one of the worst diets imaginable for a pro basketball player. You've got to eat an enormous amount of crap to be that fat with a pro athlete's schedule.
lol

I know that you're just talking about men, but if you think that's bad, try doing an internet search for "Danielle Adams WNBA" some time.

Hasn't coached in the league. Very old school. Adds an element that feels like it has low upside, higher risk. If you've ever listened to her talk about the league, it makes me concerned if she can help with the extremely fragile dynamic in our team.
I have to admit, I was a little skeptical to see where you were going with this, but I honestly agree with that assessment. There are some qualified women who would make good additions to our coaching staff, but she ain't one of them.

The great news about summer league this year is that besides wcs, we aren't depending on any of these guys
Good point, last year we literally had our starting SG(Ben). A guy we hoped could be a 6th man type right away(Nik), and our backup PG (Ray) all starting. This year its just WCS(who looked solid imo despite the terrible team).

Yeah just to be clear. It's not the female thing that concerns me as much as her personality and take on hoops that I think could rub our players the wrong way

you can't really get a feel for Willie in a summer league game...players who can get their own shots excel in the summer league. Not shotblocking bigs. He doesn't need to show out...as long as he doesn't look lost come October, I'm fine with just watching him run out there and block some shots while in Vegas. Moreland too.

At game 8 rows up. Willy is awesome for a ragged first summer league game. He routinely out ran Raptors on fast breaks. He CAN guard just about anyone here. Anderson showed his experience and was very good on both ends. Dukan the 6-10 SF from Wisconsin has a great looking form on 3's and hit 3/6, plays within his abilities.

I was just able to watch the first half, and IMHO we didn't have a PG who could penetrate and pass out. No spacing and until Dukan came in, no 3 point shooting. Wish Stockton could have played. WCS had no PG help. Anderson must have looked better in the second half, but I wasn't impressed with his game in the first half. Oh well, some rest and practice, and they might look better on Sunday.

WCS has been asked to be more aggressive on offense, so expect some cringe-worthy post ups from him.

Don't judge when he performs his imitation of a Sim Bhullar hook shot.

WCS looked GREAT! All things considered. If he gets 20mins a game with us off the bench then he will be a solid 7ppg 5rpg and a block or block and a half a game (in his rookie season). He is definitely showing signs of being a good player if he has a good lineup out there with him.

I was pretty much just watching WCS and not paying attention to anyone else. He is super fast once he hits his stride, like a wide receiver. His lateral quickness is unlike any other big I can remember. Most 7 footers look robotic, even Anthony Davis as good an athlete as he is has a bit of a jerk when moving. Not WCS, looks like a guard in a 7 foot frame.

Loved what I saw of WCS. Looked solid on D and had a good basketball IQ on offense. If he can be in the right spot, Rondo will hit him/He'll clean up Boogie's misses.

For his first game out of the box, I thought Willie played very well. At times, defensively he was a force, totally disrupting the other team in the pick and roll. Offensively he didn't get a lot of chances in the post, and no one on the team seemed capable of throwing him a decent lob. The Kings had Stone playing the point, an experiment that I hope is over. James Anderson was probably the best player on the floor for the Kings. He was solid, hitting his jumpsuit, and at getting to the basket and finishing. Defensively he was a mixed bag, at times getting beat off the dribble, and other times getting in the passing lanes for a steal.

Sim is a long way from playing in he NBA. Moreland was OK, but didn't really make much of an impact tonight. Not completely his fault with such poor PG play. Hopefully next game we'll see Stockton, and look more like a team.

Got exactly what I wanted out of WCS. He's going to be a great fit on this team.

Moreland looked rusty as hell, to be expected. Funny seeing sim bending down to grab a loose ball it takes him about 10 seconds to bend from that height. Haha.
