For starters, I don't actually believe that we're still on Plan A. And Plan B had better not be losing Cousins; that had better be no higher than Plan M (since we all know that Hardison dies in Plan M). Plan A, I believe, was creating cap space to sign high value free agents. That did not work. Plan B, I hope, involves using that cap space to trade for a high value target, who may be on a bad contract.
But, no, there's no chance that we're still on Plan A. Vlade Divac is not David Xanatos: there's no way that whiffing on Player A and Player B, and ending up with Player C is all part of the master plan.
