Well we just got exposed as if we didnt already know. We can't get ANY free agent (unless previously with us) we went all in and traded away our tradeable prices for cap space only and now will be resorted to getting players just as tired and pathetic as last years bench
Well, in another way I hope that chip on Cuz's and Gays shoulder just got a little bigger. Hey Cuz, Matthews wants to play with Jordan over you. How does that sit big fella?
If we return the same starting 5 as last year, Fegan won't have to take Cousins out of here. I'll do it for him. Enough is enough, and greatness awaits Boogie in the NBA, if he can ever get called up.
And this is why cap space is next to worthless in Sacramento. For those that said nik sucked or don't care about the top 10 protected pick, they are assets and we shouldn't have used them to dump Landry or a serviceable jt. Or do what the Suns did. How come their salary dump looks so much better than ours?

You realize that he's a part of why FA's don't want to come here, right? While yes I'll concede that we are completely dysfunctional and that doesn't help, it's starting to be pretty clear that guys aren't enamored to play with him.
and there you have it folks...don't get too high or too low when being a Kings fan. The Kings didn't really have a chance IMO...they could throw some money his way but other than that a whole lot of uncertainty. On to the next one. Bolster up that bench or make a trade or two.

Again, the Kings starting 5 was NOT THE PROBLEM last year. Any fool could see that Derrick Williams, Ray McCallum and Carl Landry f**king off for 20 minutes a night was why this team lost, not DeMarcus, Rudy, or Collison.
Its really not that bad. I would always prefer a developed Ben over a post big injury Matthews.
It would've helped in the short term bit we would be taking a big risk. It seemed like we had no choice but to use the cap, but now its better that we got an answer.
Sign Rondo and use the remaining money to make our bench deeper. Brewer, Lin, etc etc. Get another big.
I will reserve judgement to see who we do sign before I go nuts about this. It's possible that plan B works out better than plan A. It happens. Mathews was no guarantee, I guess I suppose we can all secretly hope it takes him 2 or more seasons to recover... maybe we find a few depth players that can compete for starting jobs and Rondo signs and is the Rondo we loved in Boston? I dunno...

This isn't the end of all....but this is when the real work as a GM comes into play when your top priority is gone. I'll be interested to see who Vlade signs now...if no one, trade for someone.

Ours is fine. People need to quit dramaqueening over this. We have ever bit of room we had 2 hours ago. Just shift targets and move on. Free agents, call up the Pels see how they feel about their guards, the Nets, Denver etc. Long list of possibles. By doing things the way we did them we kept our core intact so everything we do here is adding to it, and we can accept various combinations of guys.
You shouldn't. Bellinelli could really help. Unlike Ben he actually hits his threes and can handle the ball. Certianly no home run/3rd star, but he's a nice little roleplayer to space the floor with.
