It might not, but, and let me clarify by saying if this is true, we're seeing the same mistake made again by Vivek.

Hired Malone, then hired PDA. Ended with a nightmare of a season. Then, hired Karl, later brought in Vlade who's been clear he's running this thing. At the least, they don't appear to nearly on the same page. At the least this appears to be Karl leaking to PDA who's leaking to Woj, insubordination against Vlade. Vlade's trying to silence leaks and we have our coach pushing this crap? That's how it appears at least. At the center of it again is our franchise player.

So if hiring Karl was the mistake, Vivek has to step up ASAP and correct it. He just went through this for Christ's sake. There's issues when you bring in a coach who wants one thing, then later bring in a GM/Vlade who wants another.

No it really isn't. Boogie can't "demand" a trade with 3 years left on his contract. What are you gonna do, go up to your boss with 3 years left on your contract and demand to be shipped to a new department? Seriously? Your boss would lol at you. I work in a field similar, insurance for an independent State Farm agent. I have tried to explore other opportunities. The agent cashing my paycheck is the one I have to work it out with. If I want to go to another agent, something would be worked out between those parties. If my agent wanted to keep me, guess who will still be writing my check.

Unfortunately you don't hire a coach like Karl without letting him interfere with personnel decisions. If you wanted someone who would just coach, they should have just grabbed an assistant 1st time coach.

How do we get an article from Sam Amick quoting Vivek and Vlade adamantly denying trading Cousins and just one hour later we get a Woj bomb that George Karl is pushing for Cousins to be traded??? Why is firing GK not an option? Pick up Tom Thibodeau (I think he's available) or bring back anyone else. This is ridiculous!

It's pretty simple, if Vlade/Vivek are 100% against trading Cuz, as they say, they've got to clear out the guy, our frickin coach, who's directly going against them. Eat that contract or say adios to our franchise player. Tough decision to be in but it's Vivek's creating. Have to make the tough choice.

As an aside, every Kings fan deserves a badge of honor for putting up with this crap. No other fan base deals with half this ****.

As an aside part II, this mess is going to hurt is in free agency. Just making Vlade's job that much tougher.

Woj cites anonymous sources, as in someone with an axe to grind. Amick quotes Vivek and Vlade.

There's skullduggery afoot here, big time.

We're already seeing a big change. Vivek deferring to Vlade in the Amick article is HUGE. Vlade making it adamantly clear repeatedly that Cousins is not on the block is pretty definitive.

Cousins wants honesty. He wants stability. He wants players around who will want to win as badly as he does. We're undoing things the best we can. I truly believe there are more reasons to believe things will work than there are reasons to cover your head to protect it from pieces of falling sky.

Section A of your post doesn't coincide with section B. In section B you tell people not to run while covering their heads because this is going to be fixed, and in section A you admit that the sky was falling.

Also I'm sure Divac is pissed he told that dumbass he overstepped the line last time. This worse.

This sounds like someone making up stories and pushing rumors forward....as a ploy to distract Vlade and crew, while they're trying to focus on huge decisions.

I'm not buying it yet. Will wait and see what happens in the next couple days

Ok, I normally resist the obvious, but this would be the ultimate I TOLD YOU SO moment with George Karl. Why I was urging caution while people just saw the career win total. He has always been a diva, been trouble, and had all the wrong personality traits for Cuz.

Now the one hesitation with the normally ultra-reliable Woj is that his reporting on the PDA departure certainly seemed to be coming from PDA himself. A hope here might be its the same source this time. And PDA might well be right, but shorn of his front office ally Karl might still be tamed now.

As for the that ****ing old man, he hasn't earned any of this. He's nto a Sacrmento King at all. He's a user. A new old tumor on the franchise. But his very act of negotiating a 4 year deal makes him essentially unfireable. We may have committed the Bill Russel mistake all over again.

There's too much "leaking" going on here....Either this is coming from Pete Delessandro or Rival GMs who want Demarcus Cousin by stirring up a mistrust in the Kings organization and Cousins.
