Okay, the game is absurdly early tomorrow so I'm starting this just in case.

@SacramentoKings 55s55 seconds ago
Injury Update: Ramon Sessions (low back strain) DOUBTFUL & Eric Moreland (left shoulder labral tear) OUT for tomorrow's game in Boston.

If you weren't listening to KHTK today for the Grant Napear Show, you need to check it out once the show posts on www.khtk.com GREAT STUFF. Both Grant's opening and the call from "Ken" - who is apparently a member of the Kings Fans Advisory Board - and the rest of the show pretty much encapsulates what a lot of Kings fans are feeling right now.

I have few expectations for tomorrow's game. I only hope Demarcus doesn't rip somebody's head off.

Once, now and FOREVER - GO KINGS!!!

Ah, crap. I knew something didn't look right. Sorry guys. :p

I'm confused. I've listened to the whole Grant Napear Show, something I haven't done in probably 10 years, and my mind is boggled.

I heard "Ken's" rant. Everything he said epitomizes all the things we have been saying on this board. His perspective as a new season ticket holder with SIX tickets really hit home. As VF21 has said I urge you to go listen to Grant's show when it becomes available.

GO KINGS!!!! BEAT THE CELTICS!!!!!

hoping they slow it down and play like they did in the Malone era. won't hold my breath though. expecting 30+ points from Jeff Green, 20-10 game from Oliynik, Kings lose 109-96

How long does grants show usually run? It's still going on right?
Too long. If Reynolds had his own show he'd be talking about how close the Kings are to stringing wins together.

They're close to what????? This team is showing no signs of positives in the future. It's become a rarity that this team even wins a game but to say "all this team needs to do is string games" is crazy. Easier said than done Jerry!

Ok, rant over (at least until tomorrow)!

Am generally not amused when my franchise ****s up egregiously, then doubles down to it to such a degree they pee off my franchise player to the point that other forums are all opening up "Cuz is unhappy who could we trade for him" threads. If I were Vivek and the mastermind of this stupidity I'd go run off and hide in Maui too.

Here's an only hope, but not one I expect to see: Corbin is completely done here in 4 months unless he makes the playoffs. He may be done anyway. But his seat is already earmarked for a Golden State flunkie. SO, if that is the case, why the **** not go out on your terms, try to play it right, and try to make some noise to at least make your own exit another stink bomb and make your resume look better for your next stop? Playing nonsense ball and taking orders from the front office insects would make no sense at all to me if I were him. What are they going to do? Fire me? I'd be playing it my way from here on out, and I'd be playing to win.

Remember the game is tomorrow morning at 9:30am (pst)
Thanks. I'm a night owl so this will be tough. :) I will watch out of habit and I will watch looking for signs of the attitude of the players. Whether we win or lose tomorrow is not the biggest issue. Is some of the fight still in these guys bodies.

Wow, not used to watching the Kings play at 8 pm. Finally I will be able to watch the game live :)
The Celtics are generally competitive (but they have a habit of blowing games late). Jeff Green can be a three point threat and an inside threat; Evan Turner has terrible shot selection, but can still nail them; Olynyk will find his way into some easy buckets; Sullinger can absolutely torch the Kings in the post. Basically, all the Celtics' bigs can shoot 3s. So don't fall asleep on defense.
They also have been bad this season at defending the PG's, so I expect Collison to be aggressive. Also, Malone's version of JT would be very useful.

I really want to see the Kings win this. With all due respect to the Celtics, there are no excuses to lose to them under any circumstances. I'm really expecting players to step up their game, show an effort and win this.

How about final game scores of 82 to 76? Who cares how many points are on the scoreboard as long as the Kings win? Since the Kings only have a handful of NBA quality players it makes sense to slow the game down. They can go back to playing defense like they did under Malone. Then every trip down run the plays that work through Cousins. Despite the fact that it would be fun to pee off the FO this really does play to the current Kings players strengths.

We have not seen a "walk it up offense" in the NBA in a while but since the Kings have Cousins they might be able to pull it off. Hey it beats 20+ turnovers a game.

Early start, team drama, Kelly Olynyk's long hair, New Year's Eve, and Jerry gets to talk about the Bayou Bomber being injured... should be great. Happy New Year

Difficult game. Sully can torch us inside and outside. We have problems guarding the pick&roll and the 3point line. JT will have all kinds of problems dealing with all those floor stretch type bigs, who attack him from the dribble. DMC needs to really dominate Zeller and Olynyk in order to come out with the W.

Lineup change for Sac Kings in Boston. Ryan Hollins starting in place of Jason Thompson.

Very interesting. I'm actually intrigued by the idea of Hollins next to DeMarcus. Usually it's in place of him.
Feel weird quoting myself, lol, but maybe they actually sat down to consult Cuz for once. He's been open that he plays best with a Dalembert type player next to him. Maybe this is their attempt to appease him.

Hollins looks quicker on his feet than JT. He will most likely guard Olynyk. And to be honest, JT was bad since Corbin took over.
