Malone makes mistakes, but he's also got Cuz, Rudy, DC and Omri playing the best ball of their careers while Ben is taking quite a step forward. Cuz would likely reach this point anyway and beyond in the future, but the others have played for a number of coaches on a number of teams and haven't had this level of success.

There's too many extremes around here. Either we're winning and there's no room for complaints, or we're losing and it's a SHTF scenario. There's good. There's bad. We need a better bench. With Cuz our starters can compete with any team in the league. Lots of home games coming up. If we're a legit playoff team we'll be well above .500 a month from now.

Malone's rotations are a problem though. No doubt about that.
Some people think in the mindset of extremes. I'll tell you why later. Maybe I already have at some point in the past.

No way, JT was getting handled by Randolph and got into the paint whenever he wanted. They finally had to switch Hollins onto him. Randolph then just took him outside. At least those two will make their bigs work for it.
Randolph has missed four shots tonight. By my count he was 2-5 with JT covering him. That makes him 5-6 against everybody else, with the only miss being a jumper at the end of the half.

Landry had a -17 plus minus in NINE minutes

Sessions -6 in 4 minutes.

Our bench destroys us every night. Sometime Boogie/Rudy are good enough to pull out wins

Better than Landry not getting any rebounds after giving up free points on the defensive end, right?
Not better than our best big man defender just sitting on his ass the entire second Q because our head coach has no brains.

Not the first time he has done this too, he shut down AD 2 weeks ago and he gets rewarded with riding the pine for the entire second half.

I know I'm not neutral, but still I think it's a bit disappointing that Omri don't get more PT... He was good while Rudy was out and consistently contributes off the bench... but still receive only backup SF minutes which isn't much PT...
Even today with -12 in +/- I don't think he was actually bad - Sessions, Landry and unfortunally even MacLemore were just turning ball over and missing every shot while he was there.
There were quite several minutes Leuer played PF... Casspi is certainly capable to guard him while being offensive threat on the other side

I'd like to see Casspi more also. I wonder if there is just too much for Malone to keep in his mind. If that is so, his bench coaches should say something.
