Without Cousins, there is NO ONE down low to get us a bucket when we need it.
In order to beat the Spurs without Cousins, we needed our shooters to be lights out, and it just didn't happen.
That we missed quite a few at point blank range and gave up so many layups didn't help, but it was possible to keep this game closer with a greater individual effort from several players. Landry continues to mystify (or not) against actual front lines.
Yeah, it sucks that the Kings lost, but too much had to go right to make it happen in their favor. I'll take 2-2 for now.
