That's all she wrote. Malone I blame you. I've given you credit before, but this time it's on you.
I agree. He left Nick in the game getting abused and waited far too late to put in Ben. He never made adjustments on Ryan to get coverage on a known deep threat that was abusing the coverage. Also, DMC came into the 4th with 6 minutes left and the team didn't go to him until 3 minutes had already gone off the clock.

we really couldnt expect our bench to go at there starters for that long. I wonder if malone has a legit reason for keeping the guys out, they are young, at home, and had 3 days off. Too little too late.

There will be someone who mentions that we should be happy just to watch the Kings play, but at some point it's not good enough. I want to win. They said this season will be determined by wins and losses and damn it I want to freakin win. Malone has go to stop with this bullcrap and keeping all the starters in for so long. Our bench sucks why would you keep them in there so long?

I don't know what you guys expect Malone to do with Nik. We drafted him because we desperately need a shooter. We didn't hit ONE 3 point shot against the Spurs. We're 4 of 10 against NO. Ryan Anderson has made 4 himself. We need shooters out there when they play zone.
I expect him to pull the trigger when the shot is there not panic and play hot potato at the end of the shot clock giving us zero chance to score.

My questions to coach:
How do you not make sure your players stick to Ryan Anderson?
How do you not game plan to feed Cousins every play?
How do you justify those ridiculous 4th quarter subs?

Agree totally.

Bad coaching from Malone tonight, made Ryan Anderson look like a complete unknown without a scouting report. Terrible rotations, how did Collison come in with 4 minutes to go? This game fell apart when we kept leaving Anderson open, how is that possible?

I'm not the one letting my emotions getting the better of me. Don't let my use of vulgarity fool you. I'm a sailor; I curse all the ****ing time.

I've seen every game the Pelicans have played this year, and I know that Davis is the real deal. I also know that there's nobody outside of the Kings Fandom who thinks that he's not the real deal, which indicates to me that there's some sort of emotional stake involved on the part of Kings Fans in believing the contrary. Hrmm... I wonder what that could be?

You say that Davis is not an MVP candidate, and I say that the only way that is true is if you are incorrectly interpreting "Davis is an MVP Candidate" to mean "Davis is the runaway frontrunner for MVP, and nobody else is close." Davis is a Top Five candidate for MVP in 2014-15, and there isn't a sincere argument to the contrary. There aren't five players in the NBA who are more deserving of MVP consideration than Anthony Davis, which means that Davis is, in fact, an MVP candidate.
I'll take your little rant as an act of emotion even if there was no cursing...

I disagree. I can't put a guy who scores 71% of his buckets from assists as an MVP candidate. If you consider top 5 or top 10 a candidate, fine. Personally, I call them candidates if they have a legitimate shot at winning the MVP.

He is an excellent pick and roll player and is lucky enough to be blessed with freakish athleticism and length to help him finish above the rim. Once he refines his game and can consistently score without relying on others, there's no doubt he's going to be an easy candidate for MVP, but right now? No.

If you want to argue semantics about what qualifies as a "candidate," feel free to talk until you're blue in the face. In my eyes, you're a candidate if you have a chance at winning, and with the current talent we have in the league, I don't think he has a chance.

Malone is part of the reason why we lost. Leaving the bench in there is ****ing pathetic. Stauskas is probably the worst rookie so far.... 2nd rounders are out playing him. How can anyone possibly see Klay Thompson in him? Stauskas can't even make shots. This is probably a huge over reaction, but he's given me 0 signs that I should be excited about him. He's part of the reason why the Pelicans even went on that huge run.

Still trying to figure out why Kings Fans seem incapable of appreciating the greatness of DeMarcus Cousins while also acknowledging that Anthony Davis is also great? Is it more of that small market inferiority complex showing itself?
I agree. A lot of Davis hating going on in this thread. The kid is a freak. How are you going to downplay 25/12/2/2/4?

Davis is a beast. I wouldn't trade Cousins for him, but I'd have to think about it.

Siiiiiiiiigh....If only we won the Davis draft. We'd have a dynastic front court.

Anyways...Cool comeback attempt. Bad, bad, terrible, awful rotations.

Come on Malone!

If Cuz can create his own offense how come the Kings don't give him the ball down the stretch when they need a bucket?:rolleyes:
They did. Did you not watch the ****ing game? They went to Davis ONCE last night. ONCE. ONCE. in crunch time..ONCE. ****ing once. They went to Davis once last name. They went to Davis ONCE last night. They went to Cousins how many times tonight?

Tough loss tonight, but man is it going to be fun to watch these NOP games down the road. Cousins vs. Davis is going to be an absolutely incredible faceoff for years to come. I'm glad we got one of them! :D

WOW that game really sucked. Poor effort by the whole team.
Rudy Gay - played like he was injured
Cuz - Played like he was injured
JT - Took the 2nd half off
Ben - will the real Ben Mac please stand up. That was last year Ben
Collison - not a good game. Was not a factor
Casspi = for all the praise they were giving him on tv, he sure played some horrible defense
Landry - looked VERY OLD trying to guard Anderson on the perimeter. Probably cost us the game.
Nic - cant have him on the floor when he plays that badly.

I would not be surprised if there were not a couple of people go on the injury report after this game. It sure looked like the Pelicans had rested last night and the Kings were on a back to back. They all played like their shoes were in mud. Ross this video and somebody teach Nik and Ben to stay with an outside shooter.

Back it up, then: who's more worthy? **** reputation, who's playing better basketball this season?

The only thing keeping the MVP out of Davis' hands right now is their record: if they make the playoffs, you're going to have a hard time convincing voters that he doesn't deserve it.

Also, we hit our free throws and we win by 3 (in a perfect world). Every FT counts, every TO counts, every decision made amounts to your chances of winning (or losing). Nik is not ready for prime time. He needs some D-League time. He killed us out there. Passing up good shots for forced shots with 3 seconds or less on the shot clock with sudden and bizarre passes. If Nik doesn't want to shoot, which is odd because that's about all he can do right now, then he can go sit his butt on the bench and stay there. Collison should have played most of the 4th, I really don't know what Malone was doing. Ben with a vintage performance of 2 points on 1-6 shooting. Also what the heck happened to JT? Injury or? Just really reckless with the ball and very odd and at times stupid rotations from coach.

* Can't forget Landry, who was solely responsible for allowing Anderson to completely turn the tide of this game with about 4 straight open 3s for him. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me... not quite in this case.

Mm you misunderstand my post. It was brought up by a particular poster in another thread that Davis couldn't create his own offense, and the Pelicans not going to him down the stretch for a bucket was proof of that.
They went down to him ****ing once. Rewatch that game smartass. You said I was equivalent to a Knicks fan talking bad about Cousins. I said Davis is overrated because he can't create his offense.

No one's hating on him. Just sayin' the dude is painfully overrated. He's a great talent, but he has a REALLY talented team that helps him get easy buckets. If you switched Cuz and AD, do you think AD still scores 25? And like Cuz showed tonight, any kind of muscle against him in the post = bad for AD.
