Wow...after that preseason and the home opener, who should have thought Kings would be 3-1, in route to being Portland, LA clippers, and Denver. Denver being end of a back to back in Denver too!

Well said. Malone is no Keith Smart obviously. Is he much, much more - we shall see. I just hope he keeps them hungry for more - and more is taking down Nuggets again in 48 hours.
That'll be the challenge - I'm sure Denver will try to push the ball a little more, because our half court D is stout.

Huge win. A game we would have conceded arriving at the Denver airport in years past. The defense carried us, kept us in it enough for our tired stars to come in and ice. Seeds of a bench are starting to form. Landry looked like the Landry of old, a wrecking ball in the post. Casspi is such a ball of energy, Sessions played terrible again, but showed signs of escaping the funk, Ray Mac came in and played great defense and made some great cuta to the rim, Reggie ate up the boards and gave Big Cuz a much deserved night off(as far as needing to dominate for us to stand a chance). In fact who would think we would ever win back to back in Denver with Cuz and Gay both having meh games offensively?

Big shout out to Landry, dude needs to stop taking jumpers, he's a master craftsmen in the paint just a machine around the rim so crafty and skilled.
Agree Landry was key tonight as big part of new bench mob. Those little jumpers (10-12 feet) he normally hits or at least good %. Just was off tonight from outside plus he got open shot usually late in clock and with that dangerous threat Evans on the floor with him lurking like needed the ball - yikes!

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time the bench was out there but somehow still felt comfortable. Malone did an absolutely superb job with the lineups tonight. I know a lot of you hated how long he sat the starters, but that's how you get your bench going. Keep confidence in them through a close game.

Man I love this team. Collison is awesome. Man crush reaching Khalil Mack levels.

The difference between a intelligent PG who can defend compared to a chucker who can't.

Something tells me Denver is in trouble when they come into a fired up Sleep Train Arena on Wednesday night to face a rested Kings team where DeMarcus will probably play 35+ minutes

It's a long season and I'm trying to not get too excited after these three wins just like I was trying not to get too down after that first disheartening loss, but a lot of PDA's moves are looking pretty good early on thus season. Casspi has been great, Landry has provided bench punch, Collison has changed the tone, Ray looks promising and Rudy seems to be Robin to Cuz's Batman.

Still need McLemore and/or Stauskas to give the team shooting & scoring and Derrick Williams still looks out of place and inconsistent but overall this team looks good early on.

He did come in with fire 2night which is rare, even if he was ineffective his energy/motives were good today.

Bobby just said that DMC told Malone to leave the bench out there a little longer to build their confidence. That tells me he has faith in his bench AND he has faith in the ability of the starters to get the job done. I'm about ready to start up a collection for the huge statue of DFC that WILL end up outside the new arena.

Damn, I LOVE THIS TEAM!
