Kings active in trade talks?

My guess is that Terry will be bought out.
I was wondering that myself, but the quote from Isaiah after last night's game leads me to rethink that: “Yeah, a guy that can shoot it like that (can help),” Thomas said. “All he’s gotta do is spot up. And he’s won championships at every level. Not only can he help us on the court, but in practice, in the locker room. That’s a guy that you want on your team.”

side note there: apparently Jet is yet another of Isaiah's Northwest mentors/idols. There is a personal connection there.

I am personally hoping JT is moved. He's overpaid for what he provides. He whines at everything (and its getting worse) and he is so uncoordinated that he's painful to watch. You pass him the ball on the block, he fumbles it 3 of 5 times. Loose ball, he trips himself going after it. How many times has this guy been on the floor on his own accord? Also, has he ever won a jump ball?

And, most of all, I think this front office is trying to clear out the losing mentality. JT has been here for the most chaotic years since the Maloofs bought the team. He doesn't know winning. He is toxic and needs to go elsewhere for any growth.

So we get cash and roger Mason, we use the cash to buy him out or waive him ? , why doesn't Miami just waive him in Miami? Maybe saves on a luxury tax calculation for Miami?

As long as it does not count against us next year for our cap I guess its ok to help out Miami for a few bucks

I don't blame them but ................ reminds me of past transactions, past regime. Don't like this feeling.

Hopefully this isn't the big trade rumored. :( Still hopeful.

There would be a time a few years back when I would have gave Mason a tryout, but it's good that we are waiving him. It was probably a stipulation in his deal or something with Miami.

I thought we were looking to get a 2nd round pick for Fredette not give one up with him? This trade doesn't make any sense. Fredette is expiring. If you can't get any value, you might as well keep him. If you want to play McCallum more, play McCallum more. There's no need to trade a player for nothing. This trade comes across very odd to me...

nothing wrong with sprinkling around a few favors I don't think. Did we open up a roster spot for Miami to sign Andre Miller though?
Your right. And this is a common occurrence. And it's not the current owners fault for what the last owners did. Yet I don't want anything that reminds me of the last owners.

Jimmer wasn't involved with this trade. All we get is cash and send a 2nd rounder (protected).
