Keep an eye on the Suns and Kings. Both teams are trying to hit a home run before the deadline, and have the assets to pull off a big trade.

And I think Kennedy is pretty legit as far as NBA guys go.

What assets do we have besides IT? Does he think that D. Williams is an asset? I don't think Ben is tradable They cannot trade their pick until the end of the year. I personally think this team is done making trades for now.

I know the Rondo thing has been beat to death, but, after thinking about it over the past couple days, I'd still do the proposed trade even WITHOUT Rondo agreeing to an extension. The way I look at it, it gives the Kings 1 season to see what Cuz, Rudy (I'm assuming he doesn't opt out of 19M), Rondo and a top 10 draft pick can do together. During the 1 season, maybe you win Rondo over and he re-signs. Worst case, he bolts and the Kings have 13M off the books in which to extend Rudy and/or pursue other free agents.

Been saying this all-season, Jarett Jack is Malone's favorite. He will find a way get Jack.

IT, JT, Outlaw or Jimmer might be gone before the trade deadline.
I'll wait...But one thing is clear, PDA is not scared to shake Petrie's left overs for Malone-type of players.
Last time it appeared Malone had large say it bringing back former personnel we got a contract most of us wouldnt mind dumped. Hopefully that works out better

It sounds as though the opportunity to acquire Rondo this season has passed.
I would have pulled the trigger on the deal we all heard about, regardless of what Rondo said, but though I'd love for that offer to still be on the table, it doesn't sound as if it is.
I really do hope that we make another move to shake up this roster, because this team is not going to be fun to watch the remainder of the year, especially if Cousins misses more games.

Remember, even if Rudy opts out, he could still end up signing with the Kings. I don't think PDA is going to let him get away.

I hope so! As long as it is an all-star level talent that fits (or a nice shot blocker next to Cousins) I am all for it.

This team needs talent injection that fits and I am getting increasingly uneasy about extending IT at the price that he is likely to get.

We don't need all-star talent; we have all-star talent: what we need is players which complement the all-star talent we have.

We haven't suffered from a genuine lack of talent since 2008-09. What we lack is players who can play together. We've spent most of the last eight years in general, and the last five years in particular, watching a team that has managed to be far less than the sum of its parts.

What would the kings-suns trade even look like?

We get Dragic? Maybe Bledsoe...
I don't think so. Aside from that, we don't need anything else from Phoenix except draft picks which they have more than enough of

We'd have to give up Gay but then we'd also have to trade IT because we'd get Bledsoe or Dragic.

It would be a big mess.
Not happening with that team.

Only trade I see happening is for JT and Jimmer
Maybe Gray, Acy or Landry

For sure has to be one more move left.

I see a mutual termination for Jason Terry contract

I don't think they are saying the Kings will trade with the Suns. They mean they both are looking for a big trade with other teams (I still hope we get Rondo somehow).

I agree that there must be another trade coming up. Too many PFs right now.

All star level talent does not necessarily mean 20ppg scorers. I was referring more to the "glue guys". Rondo would be fantastic, so would Noah (even though he is not likely available) but either one of those is a great fit and both are all-star talents.

I remember reading on nbcsports a little while back that the Suns would likely target Rudy Gay in free agency.

So maybe there is a trade between the Suns and Kings and possibly a third team in the works?

Maybe Dragic and Frye to Boston, Gay to Phoenix and Rondo to Sactown? Obviously picks or other players may be needed to make the teams take it but that trade works in terms of salaries.

Still working on further details in the Hawes-Cavaliers trade, beyond two second-rounders headed to Philadelphia.

Could there be a third team involved in reported #Sixers trade with Cavs?
