This year might not have worked out the way any of us would liked, but I want to wish you good luck and lots of success in Brooklyn.

Thank you for your time here MT. You were fun to watch when you caught fire. Few players can match you offensively when you are hot.

I don't think MT had a bigger fan on the board than me, when he would catch fire I would get so fired up and when Evans was traded i fully expected him to explode but for some reason the complete opposite happened. SIGH.

I was a big time MT supporter. Loved the Landry trade that brought him here, and he did some amazing stuff in the second half of the season after we traded for him.

Brooklyn could be good for him. Best of luck.

Happy trails Lil Buckets! Sure won't miss that pouty little face of yours. Good luck trying to pry away shots from Paul Pierce and Joe Johnson

I've cheered your successes and sometimes moaned with pain but you sure got my attention. Good luck and keep on shooting and making them.

"Little Buckets" this year describes the total amount of baskets made. I hope a change of scenery will help Thorton thrive. He was not able to put it together here this season. I think he still has a lot of basketball left in him. Unlike Jason Terry who not only can not guard his own shadow at this point but whose offense has faded into a distant memory. Reggie Evans is a THUG, but he is OUR THUG now. Hope he can mix it up under the basket and haul in some boards and knock down a few lane drivers.

Remember when some thought he was top 5-10 SGs in the league?
SG been weak the last few years, and that half season MT was a 23 year old putting up 21/4.7/3.4 with 1.7 steals, shooting 45%. While I didn't like his pricetag coming back, it wasn't an outrageous deal if you were an optimist.

Well he actually was at one point. Says something about today's SGs, but he was. And the annoying thing is he actually could be again. But not for us. Not in this system. And I'm not sure in any major winning system. So..whatever. We've been struggling all season to move that contract, now its moved. I find the doubling down on the McLemore gambit to be dubious (that's my way of reiterating that the jumping preteen girls in our war room on draft night are too defensive and emotional about "their" pick to look at things rationally), but if IT is moved maybe we'll find out if he is just a scrub or can actually be a decent player if we get him some Sitck 'Em. In either case THornton wasn't doing us or himself any good here, and his continued presence out there was just an eyesore. I think both parties are better off with him moved.

Thank you Marcus, always enjoyed hearing you talk. Fun times seeing you get hot and scowl around the court. Best of luck to you even though you will never see this post.

Well good look MT. You were once one of my favorite kings.. not sure what happened to you, but I think you'll be able to get your shooting grove back.

The best MT was when he was bombing with Evans right after we acquired him.
I'll keep that in my memory than the MT I saw in the last 2 seasons.

All the best to you Bayou Bomber.

Go get em MT, hope you rediscover your old self coming off the bench. Perfect role and situation. Thanks for the memories. Great talent, best we've had in awhile. Would be interesting to compare peak MT to peak KM23 during their time in sacto to see whose the best offensive SG we had this millennium

really fun player to watch. I remember after the Landry trade thinking that we really had something with him and Evans. too bad that Petrie broke that team up and Westphal thought there'd be no season. might be at a whole 'nother level of development, otherwise.
