Took a quick glance at the upcoming schedule and noticed something, this is the most favorable stretch of games i have seen all year. If this team shows up to play every night, there are some extremely winnable games. And the best team out of the bunch, Houston, the Kings have proven they can beat. So i ask you, what will the Kings record be for the remaining 10 games in February?

Feb 5 - vs Toronto W
Feb 7 - @ Boston L
Feb 9 - @Washington L
Feb 11 - @Cleveland L
Feb 12 - @New York W
Feb 19 - vs Golden State L
Feb 22 - vs Boston W
Feb 23 - @Denver W
Feb 25- vs Houston L (This one should maybe even count as 2 L's)
Feb 28 - @ LA Lakers L

5-5

Feb 5 - vs Toronto Win
Feb 7 - @ Boston Win
Feb 9 - @Washington Loss
Feb 11 - @Cleveland Win
Feb 12 - @New York Loss
Feb 19 - vs Golden State Loss
Feb 22 - vs Boston Win
Feb 23 - @Denver Loss
Feb 25- vs Houston Loss
Feb 28 - @ LA Lakers Win

I could see them pulling out wins @ Washington and @ New York, ending up 7-3, but my mind says no way they win all 4 on that East coast trip.

i voted 6-4. Washington has been playing really well so i picked that as a loss. Also picked GS and HOU as losses. and then Denver because that is a really tough game, second night of a back to back, in mile high Denver

Yep, That was what I was saying before we launched on that 13 game butcher's bill that ended with the San Antonio game. All of a sudden now everything releases and balances back out over the next month. Too late for us to have playoff pretenses. Too late to usher Boogie into the All Star game. But there's every chance if our main guys stay healthy that we can be a .500 team over the next month.

Anything below 6-4 imo Is a failure, aside from GSW/Houston (who have no shown they can beat us) not a single game where assuming Gay/Cousins are healthy should we be underdogs.

I hope IT plays well against a certain team....Boston Celtics
This will be a good time to showcase some of our crapters to make a final push for Rondo.

Feb 5 - vs Toronto L
Feb 7 - @ Boston W
Feb 9 - @Washington W
Feb 11 - @Cleveland W
Feb 12 - @New York W
Feb 19 - vs Golden State L
Feb 22 - vs Boston W
Feb 23 - @Denver L
Feb 25- vs Houston L
Feb 28 - @ LA Lakers W

6-4
Not bad
Probably move us to third to last place in the western conference so back to 8th or so draft pick which is perfectly fine by me as long as we get Cauley-Stein :)

IT, JT, Ben Mac, Landry better show up against Celtics
We need to offload these guys fast for a big player

The Kings are 10-12 with Gay, Cousins, and Thomas all playing together in the starting lineup, and 10-11 if you take out that game where Boogie and Rudy left in the first half.

So, with an easier schedule I'd expect .500 at the least.

Yup time to get healthy and put together a nice little win streak. We can't win them all but I can easily six or seven wins here.

I don't see us going 4-0 on the road, however bad the competition may be. I'm going to guess 4-6 in February with one surprising win against a better team (GS at home?) and a couple surprising road losses against teams we would easily beat at home.

Feb 9 - @Washington - loss
Feb 11 - @Cleveland - win

5-5 seems about right as long as our team stays healthy. If we lost DFC again then we probably win maybe two games.

I'm going with 7-3 with health and good fortune for a change. The east is terrible this year, so road victories with short travel time in between should be a bit easier to come by than in previous seasions. I'm sure 2 road games will be losses, and wouldn't put it past golden state to win in 1-2 overtimes, given the recent history. Go Kings!

Don't look now, but the Kings are starting to come around.

Since the Rudy Gay trade was made, our total record with Thomas, Gay and Cousins all healthy has been 11-11.

If we ignore the 7 games we played without Cousins, in the last ten games since the infamous players-only meeting, we are 7 - 3.

Wins vs. Toronto, vs. Chicago, @New Orleans, @Minnesota, vs. Clevaland, vs. Orlando and vs. Portland.

Losses @Indiana, @Memphis, and @OKC.

Basically, we've beaten bad/mediocre teams, a couple Eastern playoff teams, and a Western playoff team.
We've lost to two championship contenders and a (likely) playoff team on the road.

In this stretch of games, our offensive rating has been 111.82 and our defensive rating has been 102.73.

Basically, things are slowly turning around. You can forget about playoffs but this could be the beginning of a good team brewing. We need better rim protection and some stability at SG, but otherwise I'm curious to see if this holds up.

I'm really starting to think that with a full training camp with the "Big 3" and the right reinforcements, we could be a playoff team. Cousins will still take another leap next season(it could be his biggest one imo, year to year), and Isaiah will still take a gradual leap and have better understanding as a starter(if we go that way).

Our paint defense has been much better of late with JT, Cousins and Acy clicking well together, Cousins and Acy both have length to bother shots and JT is a solid big body that is really starting to put it together team defense wise.

Cleveland worries me because they are such a mess right now. Sometimes those disaster teams finally responds once some change is made and they just fired their GM, and Mike Brown may not be long for this world himself. I don't want the Kings to be their feel good game right before they go back to being a disaster.

if their new GM manages to start the firesale before they play us maybe. but unless Brown is canned, the dude has a five year $20M contract (on an unrelated note: the hell?), and they cut out the entire cancer mass in their locker room, they shouldn't worry you that much. being overtly optimistic about the Kings' chances hasn't been a good idea on any given day in years past, but that game they should win.

Yea Cleveland just lost to a Laker roster last night that may have been one of the worst rosters of all time to play an NBA game. They only had 8 people suited up and at the end of the night they were down to 4 with Robert Sacre playing with 6 fouls lol

If the Kings organization really wants to be winning games, they should go 7-3 thereabouts.
As andremiller07 says, anything less than 6-4 is a failure if they are actually trying hard and healthy.
