Don't want/can't afford Evans or Gordon and you add the injury concerns and the fact we already have enough me first guys on the team I think we need a different type of player.

At only 4.2 Assists per game, I'd be moving Evans too. And .189 3Point shooting... 1st round picks don't always pan out
His APG per 36 is the highest it's ever been in his career. As well as his RPG and SPG. Feel free to attack his injury problems or shooting, but to attack his assists when they've been at the highest rate of his career is just plain silly.

Not sure this is anything new. The rumors have always been that they wanted to get rid of Gordon. My guess is that they have found out that no one wants Gordon and they can't afford/don't want to keep both guys.

1) Can't afford and do not want Gordon, who is the guy they really want to move.

2) Front office already made up its mind about Reke at that $$ figure, although some of that may have been due to what has turned out to be the McLemore delusion. In any case, he and Isaiah don't work, although it would certainly be an interesting development if you brought back Reke to run the PG, and Isaiah as the change of pace off the bench. Still, not going to happen, and I suspect the rumor is a little half baked. A decade ago Mitch Lawrence actually had a little respect as an NBA reporter/rumor guy. Been a long time.

No thanks, I know Tyreke has battled injuries, but I was watching the game vs the Warriors and he is still the same player for good or bad. Only drives into the paint, doesn't even attempt a jumpshot anymore(at least with us he tried to establish it), got blocked easily several times, tries to make plays that aren't there. Good one on one defender. Looks lost if the ball isn't in his hand.

Don't think there was anything in the article about the Kings was there?

Anyways, surprising they're looking to trade him. Curious what those who have watched the Pellies this year have to say. According to 82games, the Holiday/Gordon/Evans/Anderson/Davis lineup is +16 on the season, their best 5-man unit. Seems like it would be injuries more than anything that has held them back.

Just relevant in the sense Evans is former king everybody liked and apparently may be traded again.
Kings Rap forum is for CURRENT Kings players. I've moved this to the NBA forum...where we actually have a thread entitled the "Tyreke Evans watch". Go figure...

If IT wasn't our pg I would like to do thornton/outlaw for Gordon, Gordon's contract is only a year longer than Thortan and that's getting an all star player for crap seriously crap. But Gordon is an elite scorer with good defense and he is an elite shooter. Gay/DMC/Gordon would be elite, and gay/Gordon would have to accept 12mill per year in there new contracts. Gordon would just take ITs usage while keeping gays the same. Also we would have to get non ball dominate pgs in the mold of the heat (chalmers/cole) and the lakers (fisher)

It's a year longer and almost twice the cost.

That lineup is highly dependent on Anderson's outside shooting to create space....when he went down, it hurt the other guys
