Kings vs Raptors - Summer League Game 3

This one may not be pretty with Jonas just tearing up opposing bigs...and the Kings have only Gordon who is much much shorter. Ross will be another challenge for Ben McClemore, hopefully he's made some mental adjustments.

Winning or losing really don't matter in these things.

Really just about McCallum, who actually may have already proven his point and earned a contract, and McLemore. There's a few of our other guys who have shown little flashes , but I doubt enough for anybody to get more than an obligatory camp invite.

My point was the Kings will probably be in come from behind mode - which doesn't bode well for a very productive game again from the rooks. Of course winning or losing doesn't matter.

Personally, I'm not expecting much to change today than what we saw from the last few days from McLemore. His game off the dribble needs serious work and we already know he's not going to be able to show off his off-the-ball action in this kind of setting.

was anybody watching the end of the game before the Kings game? Isaiah Thomas (the legend, not the Kings player) was talking about how McCallum and McCollum are his standout summer league players so far

McCallum is the stand out for many people lately. He has been playing good, but there is just something about a coaches son that media folk can't get enough of... for better or worse (Rivers).

Not sure this is surprising as we easily had the least talented and experienced roster in the summer league. They didn't have a lot of time to put it together so hopefully it's good learning for the two rooks. But we are getting a glimpse of what happens when you lack certain types of players which will carry over to the regular season, despite improved coaching.
