This might adversely affect our tank
Probably punched a wall, after he found he wasn't going to be moved at the dead-line. BJ Armstrong probably did as wellWho slammed his hand in the door?
This might adversely affect our tank
Only the real ones know who the tank commanders on the Kings are.
While this is very likely the truth of the matter, I think anything that keeps Devin Carter heavily in the rotation is a net positive at this stage of the season.![]()
I don’t know either as none of this is his fault but I have noticed on multiple occasions that when he has gone to the ground basically no one on the team goes to help him up.Outside of having an obviously overstated paycheck, I’m not sure I totally understand the huge hate for Zach. Agree he’s an empty stats, no defense former all star that doesn’t seem to exude a lot of hustle, but I never got the impression he was a bad guy or teammate (maybe I missed something as I haven’t been following as closely as usual this year.) Hopefully he heals up, gets off to a hot start next year and we can u load him for something of value as a huge expiring contract.
Possibly, but Carter could also play himself into being part of the core of young players Perry wants to keep. If he shows he can be a decent facilitator and a game changer on defense, he could be a very valuable 3rd guard in a 3 guard rotation.Perry seemed to want to throw Carter in to sweeten several proposed trades. That questions whether Carter is part of the future Kings or is he being showcased to develop a lucrative trade option?
With so little time and effort spent grooming him before the trade deadline, it is apparent that long his term status is unlikely to be part of a Kings' rebuild. The rub is that his contract and current skill level will not make him a highly desirable trade option for other teams. The Kings aggressiveness to acquire point guards in trades and the draft will tell the tale.

It appears from reactions and play that Westbrook, LaVine, and to a lesser extent, DeRozan, are playing for themselves rather than for the team. It is not unexpected given the age and experience that they have. Additionally, they likely know that their time with the Kings is very limited and soon they will be moving on to another team.Eh, never got the impression he was Russ in terms of professionalism or locker room presence
Earlier in the season took many games off for an injury than magically appeared for the Bucks game, the one team that wanted him
Constantly questioning the team and Doug outright in the media
Questioning his role or blaming his role in the media than his own play..
And even this is a potentially minor enough injury not to sideline him that the org and he seems happy to end his season

That doesn't mean they are dogging it on court but rather they are playing hard and trying to score (most of the time) to preserve their reputations. What they do on the Kings will likely affect their contracts and future in the NBA, and they are well aware of it..
