[News] Zach Lavine breaks hand. Out for the year

I guess he really had an injury of some sort on his hand? I thought he was making a mockery of the process with these ridiculous injury reports - like sore 5th finger. Either way, not sure he or the org minds.

Start Monk. Westbrook-Monk-DeRozan are only -1.8 in 224 minutes this season.

He at least knows what he is doing & can shoot. When the subs come in, Monk-Carter-Cardwell are +9.5 in 178 minutes with a TS% of 57.

Perry seemed to want to throw Carter in to sweeten several proposed trades. That questions whether Carter is part of the future Kings or is he being showcased to develop a lucrative trade option?

With so little time and effort spent grooming him before the trade deadline, it is apparent that long his term status is unlikely to be part of a Kings' rebuild. The rub is that his contract and current skill level will not make him a highly desirable trade option for other teams. The Kings aggressiveness to acquire point guards in trades and the draft will tell the tale.
While this is very likely the truth of the matter, I think anything that keeps Devin Carter heavily in the rotation is a net positive at this stage of the season. 👍
