Looks like a cool camp....anything with Yo would be fun.
Anybody know what age it goes too;)

I'd like to check it out, I'm just not sure I can keep up with those young guns.

Age Limit

Sorry to all the 'big kids' but the camp is limited to age 16. We were deciding on a limit but wanted to get the flyers out there.

We are thinking bout doing an adult 'fantasy' camp later in '08. You guys and gals game?

Heck yeah we're game, that way we'll no longer need to find ways to forge birth certificates to get into the kids camps. Us big kids need to brush up on/improve our skills too, we could be raw, undiscovered WNBA talent just like the young kids.....;)

Well all for the best, we get our own camp. That way we can be getting in some kinda basketball shape & show ''YO'' we got some game.

We had a idea for the camps that they charge a price of addmission
that way fans can go watch, the proceeds go to ''YO's charity?

NBH that's a great idea. We were also looking at doing a fan cruise as a fundraiser in the spring. You know a little cruise around the bay, snack and drinks. We are so excited about the camp and nonprofit. The name of the NP is All About Us Girlz, Inc. The overall purpose of her nonprofit is to reach young girls in the Sacramento community and beyond with the message of self-empowerment, ascertaining goals, and community responsibility though education. Program highlights of All About Us Girlz, Inc. will be mentoring programming, the Empower the Mind speaker series, and summer camps. I will keep you posted.

Also Yo will be on V101.1 on Tues Dec. 18th @ 9am; The Kings House Party on Dec 18th: and 102.5 on Wed. Dec 19 @ 9am.
P.S. If you know of any girls in the age group for the camp pass the info.

If anyone can get ahold of Yo & check if we can observe the camp that would be great. Also find out what she wants to charge.
Also will Yo be doing a auction? I bet she has some great memoribilla.

Hello to all-

Two things:
1. We can not invite fans to the camp because we just would not have space. The facility only has a small group of bleachers...

2. YO GOES RADIO!!! Yolanda Griffith will be co-hosting the Morning show with Andrea (Lee is on vacation) on V101.1 Tuesday Dec. 18th from 7 am to 9 pm. Listen in!!! Yo will also co-host House Party Live that eve.

Last night, I was watching the News10 report, and they showed some footage of Yo's b-ball camp. There was a brief shot of Yo herself and what looked like Ruthie Bolton.

The report also interviewed some kids at the camp.

Way to go, gals! :)
