OK, we know that the first decade of the 21st century doesn't really end until 2011. We think.

Petrie is a good evaluator of talent. I trust him in not picking Rubio, there was a ton of hype surrounding Rubio but there was a ton of hype surrounding Darko, and others on that list.

I didn't say anything when the author used his opening line the first time but I have to comment when he's decided to use it again.

The first decade of the 21st century will not end in 2011 by any stretch of the imagination. It either ends this year if you look at the 2000-2009 as the first 10 years OR it will end next year if you look at the first 10 years as 2001-2010. (Incorrect but common error because of the 1-10 situation). The decade of the 70s started in 1970 and ran through 1979, the 80s - 1980 through 1989, etc. Is it that difficult to understand???????

When your article starts with a comment as ridiculous as what he's said, you have to truly wonder about the rest...

Darko Milicic = what happens when you draft based on hype and individual workouts.

In the case of Rubio, teams didn't even get an individual workout, except the Kings and even then it wasn't a real workout.
