The Los Angeles Lakers will face a critical test this week as they play on back to back nights with games against teams that are very familiar. The Lakers trail the San Antonio Spurs by four games and only lead the Dallas Mavericks by one. As the teams jockey for their NBA Playoffs positions, this week will be a major factor in determining the top three spots and home court advantage. The Lakers will take on Dallas, the Utah Jazz and the Denver Nuggets this week but they gain much needed rest as they will not play until Thursday night.
