Has Kobe bad-mouthed your city or your team??

Kobe gets big a-hole points for cheating on his wife, no doubt, but as far as his dedication and professional approach to the game..I've got no complaints.

I agree with your sentiments... unless by "bad-mouth" you mean "elbowed somebody in the mouth in the final seconds of a critical game and got to shoot free throws for it".

Oh yes, and hinting that someone tried to give him food poisoning by way of a cheeseburger.

Blame the refs for the call.

I don't recall hearing Kobe say anything about the cheesburger incident...I do know the media took it and ran with it, (them and a bunch of conspiracy theorists.)

Well, I guess that would be disgusting but I still remember Mark Madsen rapping. :(

Don't diss the Mormon Mambo.

You know what's really shady about Madsen? According to some, he was drafted by Jerry West as a favor to agent Arn Tellem. Tellem and the Busses are supposedly sweethearts. It's just a rumor, but I can't think of too many other reasons as to why LaMarcus Aldridge worked out for LA (Tellem's) or why Kwame (Tellem's) was given a 3rd year up front while Kupchak was so against taking players whose contracts extended beyond 2007.

I could be wrong (Gods know I have been all season long) But it's at times like this, when closing out finals or comming back, that experience really matters the most, and while the Heat may not have experience as a team Shack and Riely do.

There was much talk about experience prior to this series, and prior to game 2, and it hasn't amounted to much of anything for the Heat to this point.

That being said, the Heat can certainly turn it around...Detroit did so last year after looking like garbage the first two games. If the Heat role players can come out and make shots in the early going, I think it will give them some confidence, force the Mavs to adjust their defensive scheme slightly, and open up the floor a bit for Shaq and Wade. But that will need to be a totally different Heat team than the one that played in game 2.

Worry? I WANT Shaq to be swept and shut up.

I guess this is one series that most of us don't want either team to win. But if it weren't for Shaq, I would have been rooting for Heat.

I remember Kobe mentioned it. Kobe obviously said something. If Kobe didn't say anything, then who did? Exactly.

I really don't remember hearing anything about Kobe saying anything about what happened except he was curled up "like a shrimp" on the floor. I've had food poisoning..and that's pretty accurate description. I believe the Lakers trainer, Gary Vitti, was the one to let the news out. He was the one who had to deal with it.

I do remember a restaurant owner/manager saying that Kobe was at his place partying it up and drinking...and I also remember that same guy having to fess up and confess that he lied about it.

I remember that, too.

And I still think it will drive Kobe up a wall if Shaq wins another ring.

;)

I havne't liked what I've seen from Heat the last 2 games, especially in the 2nd. quarters where they just fall apart. Shots are not falling, Ft's-well you know. Wade is playing badly and I think it's more than the flu. I watched what they can do against Pistons and I'm hoping they can do it again. They're not ready to roll over yet, although their play dead impersonation is very good.:(

I just hope Wade stops being such a big ballhog. 5 shots for Shaq? Good Lord Wade is worse than Kobe.

:D Haha.. Kobe was one player that knew how to get Shaq the ball..he took plenty of shots himself, but when you've got teammates that can actually make a basket, it's easier to feel better about passing them the ball.

As expected, being down 0-2 didn't mean anything, and the Heat have gotten at least two in Miami. Hopefully a third tonight... G3 was great, Wade having a fantastic game. Dallas got absolutely whacked in G4, terrific defense, and Posey/Wade were excellent, with Shaq having an effective enough game. Zo/S-Anderson brought a nice spark from the bench too.

G5 should still be good despite Stack out

hahah kind of funny how people celebrate way early. BTW didn't they have Sacramento Kings championship finals shirts back in 02 before the Kings even played game 7.
