Would Bulls trade Rose?

I know that this thread isn't appropriate for this, but I didn't think this would warrant an entire thread by itself.

What do you think the chances are of the Bulls trading D-Rose? I don't think what we have to offer is enough, but with Butler blowing up in all the right ways and Rose's history of injuries, does anyone think there is a chance? I really haven't been all that impressed with Rose, but he would make us interesting.

0% they arnt true contenders without him and they can't trade a hometown kid. He's getting better and better he will never get back to MVP form but he will be playing at an all star level soon which he is doing right now I think.

FYI - It's better to start a new thread than to derail discussion in ongoing thread. :)

I think the only way the Bulls trade Rose is if they know he's not coming back as he was. Which is to say, if the Bulls are willing to trade him, I don't think we want him.

If Rose is healthy, No. If he's not healthy, then why would we want him? Look, Rose is still young, and even at 80% of what he used to be, he's still a hell of a player. I seriously doubt that the Bulls would move him. Butler's emergence has no effect on Rose. Apples and oranges. If anything, it takes pressure off of Rose and makes his load lighter. By the way, Butler is a perfect example a team shouldn't rush to give up on a player. I'm not saying that the Bulls were ever thinking about giving up on him, but I doubt they thought he would be this good.

Butler is going to pose an interesting problem for the Bulls this off season. He becomes an unrestricted freeagent, and the Bulls are looking at 61 mil in salary without resigning him. Some team is going to offer him the Max and put the Bulls very close to the luxury tax. I do think they'll match any offer for him though. Crazy not to.

Would the Bulls trade Rose? I am going to guess their answer is "All day, every day." But no one wants his contract. The guy is always hurt and even when he is not hurt he is not playing because "When I sit out it's not because of this year. I'm thinking about long term. I'm thinking about after I'm done with basketball."
