I know I'm wasting my time, but one last comment before I give up:

Player 2: 20.7pts 4.7rebs 5.0asts 1.5stls 0.5blks 46%fg 27%3p
Which is the better player? Which is the "tier 1" player and which is not good enough to make it there? Or is it too close to tell? Is it possible what Durant is doing now in his third season has influenced your perception of how good he is going to be as a player? And is it therefore also possible that Evans may continue to improve at a similar rate? Not to mention I think you're totally wrong about people not going to Oklahoma City games to see Westbrook and Green.

player 1 is better... way, better.... player 1 was being played out of position at sg and player 2 is being played out of position at pg... player is doing a better job at sg than player 2 is at pg....

Given that the Hollinger Playoff Odds have the Kings at 0% chance to make the playoffs, and the reality can't be too far from that, I'm ok with losses now. I'm still rooting for wins, mostly for the team's experience, but I certainly wouldn't mind favoring player development over winning an individual game anymore this year. As it turns out there's probably not a lot of situations where that's even an available choice, so it's not that hard to just root for the team and see what happens.

Evans is a guard. Not a point guard, not a shooting guard, just a guard. He plays the same way no matter if Kevin or Sergio is in the backcourt with him. He makes plays both for himself and for others, which ammounts to him making plays which help the TEAM. So get over this obsession with Evans not being enough "point" for you. He can run point. He can be the primary ball handler.
