well, i am not in sacramento and not privy to much information. why did vlade come to the game? was he invited by the organization?

if he was not, then might it be that he is trying to lure peja into playing for the lakers??

I don't think the Lakers have a great deal of interest in Peja. Well unless they are looking for someone to play that Toni Kukoc role but I doubt it based on what he will be asking and Peja's history. Lakers already have one, well make that two guys, Kwame and Lamar with their heads in the clouds half the time Peja is probably no the answer for us. We need a defensive stopper like Artest.

that's fairly ridiculous, but given that scenario, i wouldn't be bothered one bit. the last player i'm afraid of playing extremely well against his former team, the kings, would be peja stojakovic.

blinded by hatred/frustration, eh? of all the former kings, peja is the one that has the most scoring ability (including webber of now). and when i raised my concern, it was not that issue i had in mind, but rather that i would not like a situation where i have to hate him but if he plays for the lakers i will have to.

nope. i don't hate peja. don't like him much, either. but i would not be worried in the least about peja stojakovic coming back and biting the kings in the *** no matter where he goes, east or west. i dont care how much scoring ability he has, he's predictable as hell, and it only takes a 6 foot nothin' guard to frustrate peja's game.

as far as him becoming a laker and you "having to hate him," w/e...that's your prerogative. i choose to dislike peja no matter what uniform he's wearing, kings or otherwise, because he doesn't play with the passion or spirit i wanna see from one of the players on the team i choose to support.

vlade's contribution last night was minimal. he got the fans going, but they already had something to cheer about considering the smart basketball the kings were playing.

One of the things during time-outs at the King's game .... a camera roams the stands and focuses on "supposedly couples" .... the COUPLE appears up on the big screens, that "supposed couple" see's themselves up on the screen, centered in a picture/graphic of a HEART and the "supposed couple" is supposed to kiss each other and the crowd applauds .... next couple .... it can get pretty hilarious and some couples really LAY-ON some MORE THEN FAMILY RATED KISSES ON EACH OTHER.

... anyhow, Vlade - and I'm sure a complete stranger, appeared up on the big screens .... Vlade laughed - everybody laughed - VLADE DID NOT KISS THE GIRL/WOMAN sitting next to him ....

Believe me .... everyone was waiting to see what Vlade was going to do ... camera left them after nothing happened

That's just tacky. I'm disappointed to see that Arco is now doing that kiss-cam thing, which I think is rude and intrusive. Just how is the cameraman to know who is a couple and who isn't? That could lead to some uncomfortable and embarassing situations for some crowd members.
