Hall of Famer
Jeeze.... It was a really ugly loss sure, but against Dallas on their homecourt. We were just victim #12 of their win streak.
I mean, if the Kings got embarassed by some crappy team (ie: any from the atlantic division) then I would understand the hubbub. But the Mavs are championship quality. We're firstround exit in the playoffs quality.
Bibbys hurt, once his wrist heals (woulda been weeks ago if he didnt play those first few games) his shot will come back and his TOs will go down. Artest didnt start because of his lingering back issues, and Miller is trying to ease back from a torn tendon.
And yeah, Muss did some pretty bad coaching last night, but he's done some good coaching in spurts too. Point is, its one game. I'm gonna save my judgement for when the season is over.
And to those who said they missed Rick: last time we played Dallas under him it was a 26 point loss (the Adelman Kings held the Mavs to ONLY 127 pts that game)...You guys have short memories.
I guess I'm just thinking its crazy that people are taking a road loss against a top team in this league (maybe THE top team in this league when its all said and done) as a sign that the Kings are headed towards getting a great chance at a very high draft pick. We cant win every game, especially not against Dallas. Try to find some good in the bad: Martin got his shot back (his one miss was halfway in too). Ok, I guess thats about it for the good...But hey, its ONE GAME.
Ah well, sign here if you are not a bandwagon fan.
