Who's declaring? (PLEASE stay on topic)

Thats wierd, I thought Flynn would be staying and Teague was planning on entering, he has it the other way. Guess things change often in this game. Good to see Austin Daye staying, he has talent but definitely needs some work.

After the awful display that Wake showed in the tournament, it's no surprise Teague and Aminu are leaning towards staying. I think Aminu should stay anyway though.

PS, thanks for the link bajaden. Good stuff

No argument here. I did think Flynn had already said he was staying though. I kinda like him if he lasts til the rockets pick and we don't get a pg at the top of the draft.

Yeah me too, but if he enters theres a good chance hes gone in the teens somewhere. Interesting that Holliday is declaring. If he slips to the Houston pick that'd be the steal of the draft

That surprised me too and he would be steal down there, but its gonna take some time before he can contribute consistently.

jrue holiday leaving, wtf? somebody is giving this kid bad advice.

He hasn't signed with an agent and probably won't until the last minute if he did does. He's testing his draft stock and will determine whether he's entering based on that.

Chase Buddinger's dad says he is declaring, since he's already tested the waters once I guess that means he'll be in for sure, considering the weak draft its probably good for him. Jordan Hill is most likely gone as well - rumor is he's already got an agent. I didn't see Miller's introduction at UA today but it appears that Nic Wise is the only one he is anticipating being able to sway to stay.

I am just baffled by the fact that Holiday is even thinking of declaring, did he fall asleep during the season or something. Funny thing is if there was no age limit he would have gone in the lottery for sure.

Doesn't hurt anything testing the waters. Yes, he should definitely go back to school but it's still possible that a team believes in his potential strongly enough to take him in the lottery. At the very least he'll get to experience the pre-draft process.

hm that is a surprising one.. Harden is leaning towards staying.

I doubt that. I find the more "corporate" draft sites (DraftExpress, NBADraft.net) a bit more reliable. NBADraft.net links a site saying Harden will announce his intentions (expected to declare) tomorrow.

So did Rubio declared or what? I don't know. This year's draft is so weak, we should at least get #2 pick or we are ripped.

ESPN has Ed Davis, the 3rd big for UNC in this years draft, when I played Ford's machine he went 4th to OKC. That seem a little strange to anyone?

I have no clue what to expect, with Blake Griffin and a crap load of uncertainty I've seen plenty of guys that would be lucky to be a late lotto pick being touted as top 5 picks. We sure picked a great year to suck.

Yeah, considering ESPN is reporting pretty unequivocally that Davis won't even be in this year's draft:

The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. And even if it did...I have the feeling projections this year are going to be really tough.

I'm hoping Rubio declares. I have this feeling we won't get the number 1 pick even with the worst record. According to history the odds are against us. With Rubio in the draft our chance at the number 2 spot seems more likely.

History is irrelevant. The team with the worst record has the best chance at the no.1 pick.

-Ricky Rubio, 1990 International, DKV Joventut- Back on the DraftExpress 2009 mock draft, after a four month stint where he was projected for 2010. Sources close to the situation indicate that Rubio’s family is now in favor of him entering this year, and that will almost certainly be on the early-entry list when it’s released on April 27th. His buyout still needs to be negotiated, which is easier said than done, but a final decision on whether to stay in likely won’t come until very close to the pull-out deadline, on June 19th. Unlike college players who are bound by the more restrictive NCAA rules, International players can enter the draft up to three times, which gives him plenty of wiggle room.

Also announced today—Rubio has accepted an invitation to the Reebok EuroCamp, which will be conducted from the 6-8 of June in Treviso, Italy. Joventut may have to lose in the quarterfinals of the playoffs to make that a reality, though. They are currently in 6th place in the league.
