ron artest, no contest! not only does he miss the season and playoffs but he also misses out of 5 million! no one comes close! not LBJ, not NO ONE! atleast all those dudes got a chance to lead their team to its highest potential........ this season is one he hopes to block out of his mind and i guarantee you he thinks twice before pulling stupid stuff

Quiet a few upset players. But I voted for KG. MVP last season and team was in the WCF. Now they're just another lottery team. That team also have pretty much the same roster from last season too.

that whole team is gonna get broke up..... i am almost 100% sure we will only see KG and 2 or 3 other familiar faces on that team next year........

I gotta say if I was LeBron I'd be pretty PO'd right now. He's an AMAZING player and is missing playoffs AGAIN! If I were him I'd be shopping for a new team...

oooo those are all damn good choices funsc...

lets see...

Kobe and the Lakers missing the POs...come on who didn't see that happening with that team once they dumped all the players...it sux for Kobe and Laker fans but I don't think he's the most upset

Steve Francis has a right IMO (for the first half of the season) to be pissed about not making the allstar game when he was arguably the best PG in the East...however as big of a dissappointment I'm sure not making the POs is...he has only gone once...different than say somebody like Kobe who had gone to the POs every year since he entered the NBA...not the most upset

Ron Artest--quite frankly I don't give a rats *** if he is upset or not...he got what he deserved and now for the rest of his career he'll think twice before he does something stupid...he screwed his entire team over with his actions...fans shouldn't of did what they did...but Ron should NOT have gone into the crowd...period-end of the story

Chris leaving Sac...he's definetly upset and I don't blame him...I don't think he'll ever get over it...same goes for Doug Christie who is in a worse predicament in Orlando..cuz the players don't trust him, the fans hate him, the GM and DC are on the fritz and he doesn't want to play in ORL next year...both of them well never get over this trade...but Chris has the better outlook..and I do feel bad for both of them

KG going from MVP and finally getting past the first round of the POs to get to the WCF to not making the POs at all this year...BUMMER...same thing happened with the Lakers went from WCF to nothing the next year....but you expected it from the Lakers who blew up there team and ya knew was gonna have a hard time making it back to the POs but you didn't expect it from Minny...they had the same exact team..yeah they had a few injuries most notably to Sam but come on....that team should have been in the POs...no excuses...the Lakers have an excuse they don't...I do feel bad for KG though...busted his butt in every game of the season but then had to deal with his teammates bull****...the team is gonna get blown up and I'm happy about that for KG

LbJ is in the same predicament as KG...LbJ had no help in the second half of the season Z had a great start to the year but then gradually melted down...Drew has been extremely inconsistent...and then everyone else is a role player...situation is slightly different than KGs cuz LbJ and the Cavs at one time sat in the 4th spot in the East before sliding out completely...the Twolves were always on the outside looking in...it sux that it came down to the last game of the season between them and another team to see whether or not the Cavs made the POs...ya hear people saying well they had 81 games to get their act together...still sux for LbJ was has been a complete STUD all year long...sux for the Cavs fans...and personally if I were a Cavs fan I'd be yelling obscenties at Dan Gilbert every chance I got...cuz IMO its his fault for firing Paul Silas just cuz they were on a slight losing streak...you can best believe that Paul Silas's Cleveland Cavs team would have been in the POs...

so in the end for me its gonna go down to KG v LbJ...and I'm gonna go with LbJ just cuz how it ended for him...

Hallelujah!!!!!!! I could care less about that punk. I think that man is a piece of s... and I wouldn't care if he ever stepped foot on a basketball court game. Let him go off and become a rapper. I don't listen to rap so I would never have to see him again. Oh, and take Finley and Fortson with you Artest. They can be your back-up singers.

My vote is for LeBron. He is so good and led his team and deserved the PO's this year. He has got to be heartbroken.

The Lakers-DON'T CARE!!

Incomplete, C-Webb didn't just get traded, he got traded to the bottom feeding (for playoffs anyways) and very volitile Philidelphia 76ers...

Doug Christie. Frankly, I don't understand how this can even be a debate: the guy was crushed when we traded him!

LeBron James? Steve Francis? They're kids; they'll bounce back. Garnett? Webber? They'll be in the playoffs next year. Kobe Bryant? Well, at least he's got his three rings to fall back on... Ron Artest? **** him; he made his bed, let him lay in it... But Christie? He may never recover; there's a chance he'll never play in the NBA again. Hell, the only way you could have hurt the poor man any worse would be to tell him that Jackie had an affair with Rick Fox...

Artest CANNOT play in the playoffs. Stern made that abundantly clear about a month ago.

Excellent points and I agree all the way down the line.

Gotta be Lebaron. He's got a phalanx of rationalizers, but he does NOT want a loser's legacy. Next year he needs to make it into the postseason. Also, I suspect that there's a big difference between missing the playoffs and missing the playoffs on the last day of the season. That would REALLY suck. Hopefully that first rounder they traded to Charlotte last year was lottery protected because they're gonna need it.

Kobe isn't broken up about Shaq not being around despite LA's record. This year was probably beneficial to him even if he doesn't realize it.

Webber? Yeah, he's in a bad spot. I don't like the cat, but even I wouldn't wish Iverson on him.

Francis? No one cares about him. Not even himself.

Artest? Do the crime, gotta do the time.

KG? Roadbump as long as Frankenstein can make some moves this offseason.

That was funny. Cleared up my sinuses just nicely (damn alergies). ;)

BTW, Webber is in the playoffs this year too.

it's a tie between LJ and KG to me. With both of them it seemed things (that were out of their hands) that was around just came crashing down with no warning. Both of them worked their a**es off but it wasn't enough.

Oh dear God - just shoot me now. If this turns into ANOTHER thread about Ron Artest I swear I am going to do something drastic...and too horrible to even contemplate. Trees and toilet paper roll holders might be involved.

Going to go into the web and start beating the wrong poster down, only to be held back by some ill equiped web moderators, then have your web freinds follow you onto the internet and have them assulting innocent board members left and right creating a flame war, the likes of which the internet has never seen, a travesty, a 9/11 for the messageboard?

i'd say KG. lebron has his whole career ahead of him, and we all know he will win a few down the road, he is way too good not to. KG's best year may be behind him. he had an amazing year this year, but after making the playoffs all those years in a row, and finally having the chance to take it all last year after being the best team in the regular season, it must be incredible how low he has fallen. from being the best to being rock bottom. that team is in the crapper right now. they're not going to get an high draft pick, that team has to be revamped, and they have to start all over. it's like the past 8 years have been for naught.

Good point. Seeing his distraut even crushed me. He's not being respected in Orlando, in fact hated by them. How can you play for a club that does not want you there?

well i;ve been thinking of this new way for the kings to trade for ron artest...

( ok i PROMISE i'm done, and won't mention him anymore :) )

great point slim about doug. i know how much he loved being a king, and how much we all loved doug. i'd say doug and chris. but chris did make the playoffs, that nice. doug didn't even finish the season :(

OMG Daniela!! You've really got NO LOVE for Artest! :D Too funny...you had a little mini tirade there! Only one thing....I do listen to rap so Artest...PLEASE keep playing ball and stay OUT of the recording studio...now I've never heard the man rap, but NBA players do not have the best track record when it comes to crossing over from ballin' to rappin'....

Obviously it's Doug. Among star players, it's KG. He wants to win so bad, but those knuckleheads in the backcourt acted half their age this year and in that situation, there's not much you can do. KG stuck with it all year and played through a sore knee for most of the second half. He'd go out and have a monster game, get no help and they'd lose by 6.

You probably shouldn't go on the Internet if you've been consuming mind-altering substances.

EMKINGS, you are right. Zero love for that guy. Never liked him at all. I forgot to add Bowen to those back up singers to.

I must change mine from LeBron to Doug. Not only the most upset player, but also because of his situation is probably also the most upsetting for fans because we love and support him very much.
