I'm gonna go with Jimmer. Cousins is not really "exciting", but he just works down low to get his boards and points. Hes more effective over exciting. Tyreke is pretty exciting in the open floor, although if he had more athleticism it would be better. In the half court you never know what your getting with him. I went with Jimmer because nothing can excite a crowd like a dribble up three, or someone just getting on fire from downtown.

Tyreke, some of the drives and finishes he has are amazing, too bad he settles for jump shots way too often...if he starts making that jump shot teams are in trouble

okay, so I did vote for Cousins, because I love lowpost scoring and rebounding. however, my second answer would have clearly been Marcus Thornton. does nobody remember last year, or even a couple of instances this year, when he would just completely catch fire and do absurd 20 points in a quarter stuff? and Jimmer has more votes? because he might eventually do that type of stuff or what else is the reason?

For me it's Tyreke.

His erraticism just adds to it. When he runs the floor you don't know whether you'll get a huge dunk, a crazy reverse layup or a pull-up air ball. His handles are crazy as well.

Jimmer is exciting because of that expectation of him pulling up from way out.

Jimmer seriously? SMH. I get excited when he doesn't turn the ball over.

Huge dunk? Since when is Tyreke a huge dunker? For his size, his athleticism is disappointing.

I gotta go with whiteside. I think the server crashed the first game he played significant minutes. Everybody loves him too. We all realize hes a project, but we all smile at him like hes a little brother when he looks like a lostpuppy.

I chose DMC. He's a rebounding machine and a daily double/double player. He's our beast.

Jimmer WILL be exciting when he starts playing more and improves. He's shown flashes of excitement. He's one of those guys that can get super hot and shoot 'lights out.'

-Go Kings!

Easily Jimmer for me... we don't have any explosive dunkers but Jimmer and the threat of his 3ball is pretty fun to watch when he's on the floor. Whiteside running a close second now that I think about it.

Demarcus appears to be the popular choice.

I like Demarcus. I like his game and his potential. But lately, under Smart, DMC has been playing a bit differently than what i would like to see. I thought he was a lot more dominant when he played moreso in the low post as opposed to the high post or as a roleplaying type of guy.

I'd like to see him playing in the low post the way he did in the latter half of last season. I think that's where he's most dominant. And that's where we'll be strongest as a team, if we allow him to work in the low post. Don't get me wrong, he's surprisingly effective working in the high post, which i dont object to but just not to the extent that he has under smart, and as the scrapper in the paint. That really just shows how versatile and talented Cousins is.

I like Jimmer too. He's up there as a choice for me. He seems to be a thinking type of player, so it's fun to see what he comes up with when he has the ball.

I like the game of Cousins and Evans, but if I really want to follow the spirit of the thread I can't really call them exciting.

I understand the appeal of Jimmer for this question, but to me, if you like Jimmer's game you have to vote Thornton. Thornton gets hot just like Fredette might be able to, but he has done it much more often and for far greater effect.

So I'm the first to vote Thornton.

I enjoy watching Hassan purely for the fact that you never know if he'll forget that he's playing basketball or not.

What Jimmer provides that Thornton doesn't is playmaking, which is something the Kings lack imo.

Perhaps, but not nearly as often as Thornton has provided exciting bursts of scoring.

I haven't watched all of the games, but from what I have seen Jimmer has had a couple of nice "exciting" passes that I rarely see Thornton make, and a few threes to get the house rocking. Thornton's gotten those same timely threes, and has done it a lot since he's been in Sac.

True. Thornton has made a lot of big shots, he's spoiling us!

yes! thank you! I wish I could change my vote.

He takes good shots. He looks to pass.

Simply put, he doesn't seem to make many bad decisions.

Not sure what to say there.

I've seen improvement and I have hope he will quit making bad decisions, so I guess that's kinda the same.
