1) I am sad that we lost.
2) I do not like the way we lost.
3) I do not expect it to happen again.
4) I am looking forward to tomorrow's game.
5) This is my team and I love it! I am frustrated by them at the moment, but I STILL LOVE THIS TEAM.

"TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY."

AMEN!!!

It's the 1st game, with plenty to go so stay positive!!

It is the first game everybody. Just chill out. 20+ games and then we might know how this team gel.

Kings had bad travel experinces, werer stiff, couldn't work with one anotehr, and were sloppy.

People want to vent. It's perfectly okay; it's why message boards exist. Chill out? Why? You list a bunch of excuses for an embarrassing loss that pretty much left us all with a very bad taste in our mouths.

Chill out? Au contraire. I hope SOMEONE on the Kings manages to show some emotion about what happened on that court tonight.

Last year, Chris Webber paid for an ad that said, "Our spirit will never be broken." The first game, even though we lost, showed glimmers of spirit. (See the Kings-Mavs 11/02/04 thread I just bumped to the front page.)

Tonight there wasn't any glimmer. There was pretty much an abyss where spirit should have been.

Chill out? No way. If you're willing to settle for mediocrity or worse, it's all you'll get.

Sorry, Bball, but I demand better than that from a group of players who wear the Sacramento Kings uniform. And they should demand much more of themselves.
