where is kevin martin?

What's with the snide comments about one of our own players?

Kevin Martin is working hard this summer. He's been at the practice facility almost every day and is doing very well in the SPDL. He's a Sacramento King. We didn't use to ridicule our own players. Why are we doing it now?

It's all in good fun.

As for KMart, hopefully he has added some bulk. He has the potential to be a contributor for us next season. Remember when Hedo came into camp with like 20 lbs of muscle. If Martin could do that, that would be great. I'm sure he's been working hard over the summer. Lets hope it will pay off come season time.

Ridiculing our own has never been what this board is all about. Ever.

Criticizing a player for performance or lack thereof is one thing but I simply don't see the "fun" in snide comments about a young player who has done nothing wrong and has, in fact, made an effort to go the extra way to stay in town over the summer, make the most of the facilities here, work hard to improve, and try to do his best.

Apparently we disagree.

I found Fillamore's comment about not wearing a seatbelt pretty funny. I saw it more of a joke than trying to go out and make fun of the poor kid. Well anyways, it's not a big deal to me either way. Just adding in my two cents..
