What's Webber so bitter about? (split)

Not sure I've ever seen someone as salty and hold grudges more than CWebb. That must be tough life. (softened by the millions in the bank I'm sure.)
Jalen Rose throws subtle shade at Webb on his radio show every now and then about Webb refusing to apologize for the beef between him and the rest of the Fab Five. I think that Webber has taken a few thin-skin lessons from Shaq.

He doesn't necessarily diss webber but I think Webber is definitely a ego maniac. I read Jalen's book who by the way is one of the FEW people employed by Bspn who I respect especially on the basketball side and he details their relationship. Salty is an appropriate term for Webber imo.

What's he so salty about though? Did the Kings do something to diss him? The trade?

I saw the Fab 5 documentary. He wasn't in it but he definitely comes across as a really bitter dude.

I could only speculate on his saltiness reasons. His actions come across as though he feels he's owed something based on all he's done for the Kings organization and shouldn't be criticized or questioned about anything he does as a result. He also doesn't like Grant, but that's understandable.

As far as the Fab 5 documentary, Webber wasn't a part of it because he couldn't participate on his terms. There is some controversy involved in how and when he was asked to be a part of the film. He also felt as though the Fab 5 documentary was being basically controlled by Jalen, and it was more of a Jalen Rose story, than a Fab 5 story.

I don't remember all that well, but I believe towards the end of Webbers career here in Sac things started to get a little sour between him and the team. It was 2004 I believe, Kings were doing great! Then Webber came back and mucked it all up, making it be know that this was his team and not Peja's.
Then soon after I think he was traded to the sixers...

So idk maybe that could be it, some sour feelings on teh way out of here and he never got over it.

It's got to be more than that. He was very supportive during the Anaheim/Virginia Beach/Seattle movement situation. He also didn't seem to be upset with the franchise when he was part of the summer league broadcast in DeMarcus' rookie season. I'm only speculating but it feels like this is a lot more recent -- post ownership change -- and he has no reason to be upset with anyone in this current regime about being traded. Perhaps something happened behind the scenes that he wasn't happy about. Vivek did pick Mullin and Richmond to be his advisors and maybe he felt slighted? I believe Webber was also a part of a different ownership group that made an offer for the team? It could also be that Vivek picked Shaq to tutor his star player when Webber is arguably a more comparable player (and personality) and not a bitter enemy Laker. In any case, if Vlade and Peja and possibly Doug and Bobby are at the game I would expect he'll be in a little bit better mood for this one.

I wouldn't have been down with the home team if I was broadcasting either. I thought Webber called it like we were all seeing it the last time he broadcasted a game for us.

I can just about guarantee this isn't it.

Webber holds grudges..Fab 5 is the perfect example of it.

In terms of basketball commentary, I think he's just being unbiased. He's like Chuck. Barkley never really says much his former teams.
