what will happen Kingsfans.com...

A hockey team called the Lakers? Hold the phone, that one actually makes sense.
There is Lake Superior State. 80s/90s NCAA Hockey power around the time I was at BU. They crushed us in '94 for their final championship. Thankfully we won the next year and they haven't won one since. :)

Is Glenn really the sites creator? I have always been curious. I love this site, and if we try to get more contributors will that help the cause? It's bad enough I mightier the team, but losing our site too would be awful.

Whether a person stays a fan or not is up to them and perhaps some people can't explain their reasoning. I know I will be a fan until the day I die. I've followed this team since 1985 and now they are about to turn it around. They have a better chance of success down south in that free agents are far more likely to want to go to that area than this area. The Maloofs also will not be in so much of a financial squeeze. I doubt they will have fans like up here but if they do, that's fine too.

As the Lakers die of old age, the Kings will be maturing and could catch them fairly quickly unless the Lakers get some preferential treatment from the NBA. The Kings have a better chance of winning in the south and I know losing kills the Maloofs. They bought a team to win. I am not going to argue with cynics about the Maloofs. I have my own feelings about them and it's not open for discussion with me. I will not change.

If Jeremy keeps this site open, I'll be here.

I started the site in 1996 but it was not a forum like this. Jeremy was good at forums and with an exchange of papers, he took the site over and made it great.

You win this thread, agree all the way. What's Jeremy's sign name? Yah the only saving grace is the free agent attraction, but I am going to do like WarHawk and not give up unless the moving vans arrive. I am sure as heck going to enjoy the moment, and make some noise tomorrow night, and at least one more game this season. What really frustrates me, is that I just got to a point in my life where I can afford to go to games, been to 6 in three years, and now I feel like a huge part of me could be ripped away. I will bleed purple till the day I die too though Glenn.

Probably too much to hope for, but if the Kings do leave town, it'd be nice for them to leave the name and the history behind. Isn't that what happened in Seattle? That way if we ever get another franchise (Hornets???) they could be called the Sacramento Kings again.

as a dejected native of Sacramento, I'm wont to agree: can't imagine the Sixth Man banner hanging over anyplace else, least of all Orange County soil.

I agree 100% with everything you said. And I hope the owner does decide to keep the site going if the Kings happen to move.
