What teams would look like if players played for their hometown teams

If every player played for their hometown. My Bad. Who do you guys think would win it all? The Rivalries would be so fun to watch.

At the beginning of the NBA, teams had to draft players in their own area so this has already been tried. Looking at our team makes me think that I don't like the idea. :)

Man... and I thought our roster looks bad now...

  • This ought to let you know where my head's at: my first thought when I saw that Celtics roster was, "I wonder if Ryan Gomes knows Mercedes Martinez?"
  • Philadelphia's lineup is guard-heavy as ****! They better hope nobody gets by them, though. Charlotte, too, for that matter.
  • Conversely, Houston's lineup looks like they'd hold teams to fifty points a game... and score thirty-five...
  • Teams that look surprisingly well-rounded: Memphis, Dallas and Indiana. Although, in Memphis' case, they seem to be playing fast and loose with the definition of "hometown."
  • Chicago and Washington look real, real beast-like.

Were that a team three years ago, I actually like the general direction of the team though lacking a go-to offensive guy. Lots of defense there (especially if you replace Pondexter (when was Fresno remotely close to Sacramento?) with Matt Barnes. Also if we're apparently going with people who grew up in remote areas of the Central Valley, why the hell is Chuck Hayes in over Tyson Chandler?
